“Just came off the M6 to find somewhere to eat and stumbled across this pub. Really glad we did, the Sunday roast was excellent. It defeated both of us! Would definitely recommend to anyone else, and next time we're travelling that way needing food we'll be back.”

“Well well, this is a textbook definition of a hidden gem! Who'd have thought that a quality Indian restaurant exists in a quaint and nice village as Audley? I went for dinner with very low expectations, but I was in for a surprise. The starters we tried were Prawn Bhuna Puree, Shami Kebab (Lamb) & Chicken Malai Tikka - all 3 were cooked to perfection and the meat was succulent. Highly recommended going for the hot relish, as it's very unique and nice to taste. For main course we had Tandoori Chicken, which was served on a sizzling platter with sliced onions on the sizzling plate as well. The tandoori smell that permeated the restaurant in a lovely way was evident and present in taste in the tandoori chicken pieces; the curry accompaniment was also very good to taste, and very unlike the run off the mill curry sauce usually found at other Indian restaurants. The ambience was very relaxed, with lights just the right brightness, comfortable sitting arrangements, clean toilet. The servers were all warm and welcoming. Overall a very, very good experience and enjoyed a lovely meal at a nice restaurant without any added fuss or loudness after a long time. Totally recommend this to all, and will certainly be visiting more myself. This restaurant certainly seemed to deserve the accolades it shows in Google.”

“What a delightful old pub in Nantwich. The food, the drink and wonderful ambience make this well worth a visit. Brimming with historic charm and a children's policy (over 12s only) which ensures a relaxing visit. I have to commend the landlord on enforcing this. Children are a blessing but I simply want to enjoy my downtime time in peace. To hear the crackle of the large open fire and conversation with my partner over a superb plate of food. Huge well done Darren & team. We will be back very soon!”

“We stayed in our canper van in the beautifully laid out car park. Paying to park overnight gave us a voucher for 10% off our restaurant order which was brilliant. The food and the beer were really good, the indoor eating area was cosy and the staff were lovely. We'll definitely be back.”

“I made a very last minute booking for my son’s birthday. Was surprised to arrive to balloons and banners at the table, and even a complimentary desert for the birthday boy. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and the food was the best we’ve had in a long time! There’s absolutely nothing negative i could say about our visit. “On a drive by coming back from Wem to home. I love finding market town restaurants and this one is excellent. Two chapattis, garlic chilli chicken and mushroom rice. Magic, just what I wanted asked for it to be a little bit more spicy, madras hot. Just delicious, friendly welcome and we enjoyed a great chat with the manager. I had mongoose lager and wife had the cobra. Places to park just around the corner. Overall, great experience, good service and food came out promptly. Reasonable prices too. Little Jaipur is a fab find, at the home of the gingerbread man.”

“Food was not 5 star, though for me and my family it was exactly what the doctor ordered: generous portions, good tasting fare and, ....the price was very reasonable. Most of all, the chef and his daughter were so friendly, that we had a good natter with them were he explained some of the acts and singers performing there at times. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Btw, a bottle of wine was included within the total price of £48.- feeding 4 of us! Thank You, Chef”

“Have been going to Peony for years! I honestly can say my family and I will always be very grateful to have such authentic restaurant at our door step. yes it has been taken over by new owner and food is somewhat a little different but it is still delicious and better than a lot of restaurants in Hong Kong. I also noticed they have replaced table cloths and chopsticks the place is a lot cleaner! Owner is friendly and evidently put a lot of effort in her work place. I am grateful for Peony and I am glad I don't have to travel an hour to have delicious dim sum! Keep up with the good work! Recent visit: the crab meat dumpling (red one in the pic) omg! Must try!”
