βPurchased a milltek exhaust via the tegiwa website. I also opted for installation , I got a call a couple of days later from tegiwa giving me the date and details of the garage all excellent and efficient. On the day of the installation the garage noticed a damaged component and an incorrect component also the garage suggested I needed a valve delete kit. This problem was caused by the manufacturers warehouse fancy having a fantastic product then allowing your warehouse operations to ruin the experience. Anyway tegiwa were amazing they sent a chap to visit milltek and collect all the parts I needed this was a two hour round trip . Thank you for saving the day Tegiwa and fiesta man :-)β
βGreat customer service and wide range of things are available in reasonal price.β
βWe took our baby girl for her first birthday and stayed two nights in an In the Night Garden room. It was the best time of her little life and there for me, too! The hotel is perfect for little ones, so baby friendly with so much thought gone in to the design. Including travel cot, baby bath, bottle warmer and nappy bin in the room. The lobby itself was interactive and magical and my little girl was blown away to bump into her two faves - Upsy Daisy and Iggle Piggle doing a meet and greet in the hotel. Parking was easy, plenty of it and right in front of the hotel which is great when youβve got a car full of baby supplies. Breakfast is very good and they do veggie sausages on request. Evening food was lovely one night but not so good the second. Tiny tots menu was very good. Drinks and food were expensive, but that wasnβt really a surprise as this is the case with most resorts like this. Iβve been singing the hotels praises to any parent who will listen and we will definitely come back when our daughter is older and the Bluey ride is open. Only negatives (or just something to mention) is that the signage in the area (Alton towers area) generally is pretty poor and sometimes misleading/confusing, but itβs easy to find a member of staff to ask for directions when needed. Special shout out to Sam on reception who answered all my questions before we arrived and was super helpful. Thanks for calming my first time mum nerves!β
βThe Hex ride at Alton towers is a ride that shares the tales behind the story of the legendary old chained oak tree that links to the castle ruins and the earl Shrewsbury. It's a ride located in an area of the castle ruins that you enter in the fountain square area of the theme park. It's a popular ride with many visitors to the park that many do for their interests in the history of the ruinsβ
βSuch a fun ride! Me and the boy came off dizzy! Surprisingly smooth for such a mental track - we went on facing forward first, then again facing backwards at the start of the ride. Interestingly, facing forward to start leaves you way dizzier! Great coaster.β
βHad a fantastic time at the Santa sleepover experience. Stayed in the woodland lodge. Included entrance to the park obviously limited rides due to time of year. There was so much to do , the aquarium was wonderful all the staff made you feel very welcome.Visit with santa was so special all the Elves made it a magical experience for my granddaughters and included a gift. Then evening meal in the waterpark hotel, followed by a Pantomime. Next day breakfast at the crooked spoon and entry to the waterpark in the morning. Great family fun.β
βFood was nice. But i ve had better ramens. The ingredients were very nice, but the soup in it could be better, and the noodles also, were too moist for my preference. But the beef noodles were very tasty and the cherry lemonade ......omG, the best drink i had in years! So nice. The service was also very good. Thank you!β
βSuper delicious and fresh food, made on the spot and really tasty. Great value for a huge portion. Be aware they don't accept card so you need cash or to be able to do bank transfer.β
βwe love this cafe, our family comes here every year in the autumnβ
βI can't recommend Dale and Collins enough! They were the 4th Estate Agent we had around to value our house (we were originally only going to have 3 but after we saw that they had sold another on our street super quickly, we thought it was worth the call), and as soon as we met Jackie, we forgot all about the other 3! Jackie absolutely did us proud with our listing, and Charlotte really supported us through the whole sale process - they were an absolute pleasure to deal with and would sell with them again without giving it a second thought! Thank you so much!β
βNew to the area and tried Rookery for the first time. Still very busy towards their closing time but they were very friendly and welcoming. The food was decent and definitely did the job. We will definitely go back. Sounds like they're new owners by the way so for anyone who has rated it poorly before give it a go again nowβ
βOnly problem is it gets very busy! It's a lovely playground in a beautiful setting. The nearby visitor's center provides refreshments and toilet facilities.β
βIβve been wanting to stay at the Enchanted Village Treehouses at Alton Towers since theyβve opened, and as it was a friends birthday, 8 of us pooled together to stay in one during Oktoberfest during September 2023. Iβm not going to soften the blow β this is one of, if not the most expensive accommodations on-site at Alton Towers, but was the price-tag worth it? I think it was! First off, once booked, we received all the normal confirmations as you would expect. What was nice however is we received a phone call a few days before we checked in from a very friendly woman, who explained everything we would want to know about our stay. It was a very nice personalised touch, and got us excited for the trip. Upon arrival, you get 2 reserved parking spaces at the Alton Towers Hotel which we took advantage of. As check in was at 2pm, we headed into Alton Towers in the morning and then headed back to check in. There is a specific Enchanted Village Treehouses check in area in the Alton Towers hotel, where youβre met by a member of the team who give you all the details youβll need, keys and tell you how to get to your lodge. Once the paperwork was done, we headed to the lodge. The Enchanted Village area is car free, so we grabbed our bags and headed to the lodge. The host who checked us in stopped by to show us how everything worked, and again, this very personal touch was greatly appreciated and did elevate the experience somewhat. Upon entry, the Treehouse was impressive, with massive high ceilings and big windows overlooking the forest. There were lots of little details throughout the lodge such as little βfairy doorsβ, books for children, mugs with hot chocolate and biscuits, as well as an XBOX with games. As it was our friendβs birthday, they organised a really lovely treats hamper, including sweets, popcorn, some Wickerman goodies and a bottle of Prosecco β it was a really lovely surprise and one he hugely appreciated. The highlight however was the hot tub on the terrace overlooking the forest β it was fabulous and, in my opinion, made the price tag of the Treehouse worthwhile. There was something quite special being sat in your lovely warm hot tub sipping some bubbles overlooking the forest. The bedrooms were fairly small, but as we were staying just the one night, we didnβt spend a huge amount of time in them. As part of the package, we also got 4 Fastrack passes per person for The Smiler, Spinball Whizzer, Runaway Minetrain and Wicker Man. These do change throughout the year so the rides may be different, but this was a great bonus as it was a busy Saturday on the park. As part of the package we got breakfast in the Crooked Spoon. Iβve left a separate review of my experience at The Crooked Spoon as this was very disappointing, and did leave a sour note on the end of stay β but I feel that the Treehouse itself shouldnβt be penalised for the poor experience there. Overall, as a treat for a special occasion, the Enchanted Village Treehouses are worth it. The service, perks and location really do make a difference β and the wonderful hot tub is the cherry on the cake.β
βOur stay at Alton Castle Centre Hostel definitely exceeded our expectations. We had been looking into options for our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children) to stay for 1 night following a full on day at Alton Towers and travelling from London we needed a place to stay. Being only 5 minutes away from Alton Towers and getting one room for the 6 of us together was perfect for our needs. The staff on arrival and throughout our stay were so welcoming and accommodating and they even had time to listen to the overexcited children we have in tow. we were allocated a table for our family in the eating area and everything felt so clean and organised. The room its self was clean and spacious. and after the deciding of who had top or bottom bunk the kids all settled well for the evening. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to crash when visiting the theme park and would stay again. DislikedΒ Β·Β Nothing to reflect the Hostel itself but not being used to sleeping in a bunk bed, my sleep could have been more comfortable but we still had a good nights sleep.β
βExcellent service called for a replacement built in fridge Ben went out of his way to help us out would definitely recommend this branchβ
βFantastic team of guys based at this branch of CEF, never have they let me down and will always do there best to help.β
β4 night break exploring the area. Nice and central to get to various places including some lovely walks and exploring Leek. Accommodation is great with everything you need to prepare your own meals or eat out. Everything clean and well decorated. Our only problem was the lack of a teapot but this was rectified at once by the owner. Would definitely recommend but do watch the stone walls as you turn in.β

βAlways pop in here to pick up something I might need. Staff are always lovely and friendly, always happy to help if I have a question.β
βIt's a great spot to enter the theme park at Alton towers resort, with the steamy mist it makes a great atmospheric setting that creates alot of excitement as you enter knowing you have arrived at the largest theme park in the uk and gets you ready for a fun day. One of the best rollercoaster rides in the busiest area of the park along side the new Toxicator and nemesis rebornβ
βStaff when we found one were eager to help. Went out of their way to get exactly what we wanted. Several purchases later we left very happyβ
βAll staff were friendly. They involved my daughter in the process so when she has her first eye test sheβll be less nervous. They helped me pick glasses when I was struggling to decide and I was even able to see the same girl when I came to collect my glasses and have them fitting. She was lovely.β
βVery friendly cosy little club with a great Christmas quiz night!β
βStayed here for one night on the 2-day pass bundle. The bed was comfy, few little amenities like a kettle with tea and coffee with a selection of biscuits. A hairdryer was located in the draw on the dresser table. Plenty of clean soft towels. The TV worked which is useful no signal issues. Not too far a walk to the monorail to get into the park. Staff were helpful on arrival and check out. Plenty of parking after checking in at 4 p.m. Would recommend.β
βWhilst most of the other rides will most likely be broken being Alton Towers, this is a great place to go to have fun, everybody tries to shoot everybody and it's great! Half the guns don't work (Alton Towers) but it's still great!!!β
βStaff are really helpful and friendly. They know what they are doing and are happy to explain what they are going to be doing for youβ
