“We recently stayed at Overwater with our narrowboat. The plan was a two week stop over christmas so we could leave our boat in a safe place. After 24hrs we extended our stay by a further 3 weeks. Why? Having seen a few other marinas we could immediately see how much effort and pride there is in what they are creating here. From our first contact with David, the manager on email, it was evident they knew customer service (all too rare today). The services ( showers, elsan, & fuel) were first class. I needed to receive a few packages while we were there, and even have a mattress delivered and take away. All no fuss. The site is very clean, well looked after and teeming with local wildlife. There was no big road noise and very little overflying aircraft. There was dedicated dog walking area and we spotted some very neat looking glamping pods and some bigger lodges Also a big shout out for the book on demand bus service (go-too) that picked me up from the gate and whisked me into the middle of Nantwich on several occasions and then there is a jewel in the crown, The Cafe. dog friendly and delicious food. A real winner In short a fabulous marina, and justifiable multiple winner of marina of year. Thank you David and the whole team for making us so welcome. I hope many more people get a chance to share the experience”

“Only £4 each to get in and under 2s are free, cute little farm. You can feed the animals 50p a bag of feed. Play barn with a sand pit. Little nature walk with a den, picnic areas and outdoor play area. Mini golf included in the price. There's a cafe with fresh cooked meals drinks desserts and ice cream. We'll definitely be back it's beautiful for families.”

“From the minute we walked into the showroom we have been treated like the most important customer. It is heartwarming to know that the staff look after all their customers like that. I will definitely use Bensons for beds again in the future.”

“Fabulous family weekend spent in the converted pub. Our second visit. Its been revamped since we last stayed. Downstairs was great, Really well stocked kitchen. Comfy lounge, great bar area. Fantastic family area. Bedrooms, lack a little luxury. No full length mirror. No hooks for towels anywhere. Bathrooms tiny and unpleasant drain smell due to saniflow I suspect. However perfectly usable and great power shower if not compact in size! Loads of cobwebs and spiders in our room so the corners and windows in room and bathroom had definitely been missed. Bed super comfy and bedlinen lovely. There was only one side table by the bed even though room for two and our TV wouldn't work. We spent limited time in the room so it didn't matter. We would 100% return again.”

“We had an excellent night, the venue is first class! It was the perfect place for our disco on the longest night of the year. We could spill out into the outside area and enjoy cooling down out there a while. Thanks for the smooth operation and arrangements, Ollie and to the helpful staff on the night.”

“On arrival we were greeted by Sarah, very approachable and accommodating. She explained clearly where we would find out room and even nipped to the Beefeater attached for a couple of fizz flutes as we had brought with us a couple bottles of fizz for the room. Thank you..”

“Stayed here for a week for a business trip. The rooms were excellent as were the staff. On the last night we experienced a power cut which was out of the hotels control. They moved us to a different hotel which was made very easy by the hotel manager. The staff were brilliant and handled the whole situation. It would have been understandable with so many people to deal with if someone lost their rag. But everyone remained calm. Fantastic staff. Would very highly recommend”

“Massive place, so a good chance you'll find what you're after here. Not being used to the place I had to ask for help from an employee to point me in the right direction. Ended up asking the same guy twice, who was very helpful indeed. Will be visiting more often now ive seen the vast array of materials they have under one roof. As a maintenance manager for a property portfolio it should cut down on the number of places I currently use.”

“Great Store and Team - Purchased a bike to collect in a week, bike was made up early and I was allowed to collect today. I didn’t get the name of the assistant who helped today (7/8/25 ~ 10:30am on the bike tills), but he went above and beyond to help with accessories for the bike and signing up for a care plan - even fitting the accessories so I was ready to ride home.”

“Stopped here on our way south. Room was basic but has everything you need, it was Very clean and you get tea/coffee etc Staff member on arrival was very friendly and helpful. Overall good place to stay, definitely recommend…”

“The best pharmacy in Crewe. The manager here was extremely helpful when Boots were unable to dispense my prescription, Boots were very unhelpful and simply said their supplier was out of stock! Leaving me without medication. Rowlands pharmacy ordered my medication in the next day, even before the GP issued my replacement prescription to Rowlands. This is now my nominated pharmacy. It is always very efficient and very short waiting times. Highly recommend.”

“We recently had to take our cat (Harry) into Crewe Vets for Pets as an emergency, from ringing to ask for an appt (which we were able to get within 20 mins of ringing) to seeing the vet we had an amazing experience. The staff at this practice are exemplary in their care for the animals (and animal parents !) Harry was looked after with so much care and love, and thankfully has made a full recovery. Nothing was too much trouble for Daniel (principle vet) from administering the right treatment to make Harry well again, to advice and reassurance for us while we had to leave Harry with them, he couldn't do enough for us. The team at this practice are amazing and we are so glad that Harry is in safe hands when he has to visit.”

“Park Life Café is inside the beautiful Queen's Park which is a quiet, well-maintained and beautiful park at Crewe. It's a wonderful place to chill out with family, friends and pets on the weekends. I have been there several times and always enjoyed my coffee in the midst of the natural surroundings. The food and lovely ambience makes this place worthwhile not one but multiple visits !”
