“An excellent venue, with well-tgought-out decor, a lovely ambience, great service and very good food. Well worth a visit. It's in the Manor House Hotel where they also have a spa and a swimming pool (apparently with a swim-up bar!) so you could tie the experience in with a getaway break. We didn't, we just ate, but it was a really nice place to go and reasonably priced, too.”

“I have visited Higher Ground on numerous occasions and love the decor, atmosphere and delicious food. Staff are always polite and attentive. I often visit with my children and mum who has mobility issues and staff go out of their way to accommodate us on a table that is accessible for her. The food is always delicious, and it is clear that they use the best locally sourced products. I usually go for brunch but recently tried the Shawarma wrap that was amazing.
