“Wonderful, wonderful bar. The DJ is out of this world!! Me and a couple of pals had dinner and drinks here on a Saturday night. I didn’t realise the place turns into a full blown nighty C after dark. Food was amazing, service too. But, the DJ was something else! Got chatting with the DJ who names himself ‘Joey the Axe’ (I think). He was brilliant. Read the room with his music, and was very very friendly. Played all of our requests without issue and made the night very special. Even gave me a lift home and walked me to my door!! I’ll never forget you Joey the Axe.”

“Just had our first meal from here, (our regular Chinese has now closed) we had heard good reviews on the food here so though we would try, we were not disappointed and will most definitely be back!! The food was amazing, full of flavour, hot and very good portion size! Great menu with lots to offer. Staff very friendly, and excellent prices.”

“Brilliant day out! I had been looking at this place for a while but was unsure how good it would be. It was easy to find, there is plenty of parking, and it's cheap to go into the play areas (£11.99 per child and £2.99 per adult). I didn't see any disabled spaces, but there are no parking bays so you can leave a space next to the car for wheelchairs/pushchairs access. The car parking areas are well maintained, but are grass/dirt which might not be suitable for all wheelchairs. We went when it was really busy (hot day in the summer holidays) and it wasn't too busy. There are lots of well maintained paths around making it easy to navigate with disability aids (I myself use a stick and had no issues). There is a reasonably priced cafe, farm shop and concessions stand as well. You can also bring a picnic and there are plenty of benches/tables around to eat at! There are also lots of benches/seats in and around the play areas so it's easy to keep an eye on the kids and not have to be too far away. There are various types of play. areas for kids from toddlers to older kids. My son is 5 and he had a brilliant day! The staff around the farm are really friendly, and they look after the grounds so well with regular bin emptying, litter picking and tidying. Well worth the low cost to get in! We will definitely be visiting again! You can buy animal feed for £1 per bag at the entrance (reasonable bag size for the low price) to feed various farm animals on the way round. There are goats, ducks, geese, Free-roaming chickens, cows, horses, and pigs. Overall, I would easily give the farm 5 stars. It is a wonderful place to visit with the kids to get them off their tablets/devices and get them outdoors!”

“Really nice soft play, my son had a great time. But special mention to the two women who were working when we visited - my son has a peanut allergy (which can make it really tricky to eat when we're out, and I can feel quite anxious). The manager got me the food packages so that I could check the ingredients and made me feel so at ease. The other woman working made me feel so much better when I was apologising for being a pain. I felt really understood and comfortable. They were just great. Thank you!”

“I've been here several times now. The fataya is pretty good but the schwarma especially the mixed one is amazing. There's never really a queue when I go in the evenings and it's usually a quiet relaxed atmosphere which is perfect for me.. The guys are friendly, and the portions are generous and filling. I'd definitely recommend it especially if you want a quick bite before catching the train as it's literally a few minutes walk away.”

“I didn't actually stay here but from the fantastic review from friends I picked up, they were over the moon with what was available for them, the children didn't stop, zip wire, endless list of equipment and each of the 14 rooms had a tv with fire sticks for Netflix etc, inside was a mac and computer games, loads of board games and also the hot tub was ready for arrival, massive bbq, large tables for a big family get together. Brilliant by the look of it.”

“When I walked in I was hit with a warm welcome and enjoyed the chat I had with the owner. The service was amazing and got my food in 5 minutes. This is where the story gets interesting, as soon as I took a bite of my food I fell in love and now I come here every 2 weeks, definitely recommend to anyone in the area!”

“We visited here after a trip to a National Trust property. We parked outside here to go to a pub further up the road & expected it to be closed when we came back, but they were still open at 9.10pm. Which was very lucky for us! The staff were so friendly & the food was all delicious. We ordered mixed kebab meat, fish, steak pie, large sausage & large chips. The prices are very good & the portions are very generous. As it was near closing, they gave us a large battered sausage & 3 potato fritters for free. We mentioned that we were going to share the food whilst sat in the car, as we aren’t local & asked if we could have 3 spare trays to make it easier. They went one step better by giving us 3 trays & offering for us to sit inside at a table, as they still needed to do their cleaning. We gladly took them up on this offer & thoroughly enjoyed everything. Such excellent & friendly service. We will definitely return here if we’re ever in the area again :-)”

“Fantastic Pub the new Landlady has brought it back to life by working with the community to put on events they are looking for as well as great entertainment. The pub is now a community hub with lots going on and everyone looks out for each other by working with the community and respecting their needs Claire has really started to make a big difference locally and it is definitely 1000% better than I have ever seen it.”

“Great pub with great staff and the locals are extremely friendly karaoke on a Sunday with Ben is a great afternoon/night. Quiz night on Wednesday night is a great midweek break. Jo Baker the landlady is doing a great job and now they have had a refurbishment the drink deals and cocktails make it a very reasonably priced night out”

“From the roadside The Loggerheads pub could appear a little intimidating, but once your through the door, it's a warm welcoming atmosphere. It's interior is kept clean and tidy inviting you to eat there. Lots of space to dine indoors (or out, child/dog friendly) Reasonably price varied choice menu. Gammon was delicious very tasty, would recommend 5***** Nice pub lunch”
