“Fantastic experience. The food feels genuinely homemade, full of flavour and clearly prepared with care. The homemade sourdough bread was especially delicious — fresh, rich and absolutely spot on. Everything we tried was excellent, with great quality ingredients and attention to detail throughout. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, a wonderful place with outstanding food and service. Highly recommended and we would happily return”

“The Pilot Pub in Mumbles, although quite small, was very welcoming. The bar staff were really friendly. They’ve got a good selection of different craft beers and the atmosphere was great. It was my first time visiting, but I felt very welcome. Thank you.”

“We had a weekend with family in the Mumbles and decided to visit the Vic for a couple off beers to throw some darts and watch the final day of the premier league. All was great until the final whistle when some old 70* 7 day 1 pint drinker decided it was ok to abuse my family and Son. Whilst I understand locals may not like tourists frequenting their bars I would argue that if it wasn’t for the tourist then many of their bars and restaurants would be shut. While we may have been a little loud/ excited at the results we were very respectful restful and put some money behind the bar. A nice holiday tarnished by an old fossil who has nothing better to do than aggravate tourists….”

“Was here on a Sunday morning for breakfast. A great welcome when I arrived, very friendly staff. A good selection of options for breakfast including veggie options. I didn't notice if they had a vegan option so you may want to check with them before you go. No steps to enter the premises from the street so easy access. Food was reasonably priced, well presented and was delicious. I'll be back and I recommend it for breakfast. Thank you!”

“Love this salon - I drive over to the mumbles all the way from Tenby for my hair colour. Abbie looks after me and gives brilliant advice - I feel like I can whole heartedly trust her and love the colour of my hair that looks so natural. I’m an older lady of 68 so it’s great to find someone who gives all her enthusiasm and not stereotype me as an older person. Well done SY”

The food and the wine choices are excellent and fantastic value for money given the quality. “Classy cafe-bar with quality drinks & a good tapas menu in the evenings. Was here on a Friday evening - Google said busier than usual, which was a surprise given the quality of the experience. Started with cocktails from their menu - both the Expresso Martini and the Princess & the Pea special were lovely! Had some of the tapas menu - all excellent, although the Mac & Cheese was fairly spicy. Nice atmosphere, but not a special as the drinks & food. Well worth a visit!”

“A great old fashioned real ale pub. Get them to put the fire on for you. They don't do food but are cool about you bringing your own. Very popular with the Mumbles locals. Wide range of local craft beer, perfectly stored and served.”

“Took friends from Blackpool here as its quite a swansea feature. Sat inside and ordered off QR code for main meal, I had spaghetti carbonara and garlic bread. It was stunning. Lovely views watching the tide come in. Attentive staff, even the owner walks around talking to people and said hello to us. Seating area outside, the place was packed. Toilets need a bit of attention. Amazing selection of ice cream and desserts. All reasonably priced which was lovely to see. Parking just next door, pay and display. Very impressed.”
