“A vibrant venue with beautiful views of Aberdeen beach and friendly, engaging staff. Definitely recommend the axe throwing. It was enjoyed by all in my group and we had fantastic instructor. We didn’t have time to try other games on the premises but from what we saw they looked fun. Had drinks at the bar and was enjoyed by all. Didn’t have a chance to try cocktails but will definitely be back in the future!”

“Service was very fast when I visited. Had the ribeye and it was very good and cooked exactly as ordered. I'm quite picky about quality, but as far as my experiences at hotel restaurants go I couldn't be happier for the price. My friend said his burger was good as well.”

Also, the pizza here is delicious, and the Wi-Fi is super fast, which was a huge plus for me. Highly recommended!”

“To the idiot, Derek, and the other guy: The one night in question was for 18 - 25 year olds / Students. Unless you fall into either category, you won’t get in. The bouncers are there to keep people safe. The dude paying by card, you were in one room. There are 3 rooms. Don’t generalise the music of the entire place based on your experience in one room. Such an exaggerated story about the barman walking away too.”

“Came here last night at the recommendation of a previous teacher of mine having moved to Aberdeen for university, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Being American, we had high standards for this type of food, especially in terms of authenticity. We were highly impressed, especially by their wings. Our server Becky was amazing, and was on top of it. We thank Sarah for her hospitality as well, and will 100% be coming back soon.”

“12th May 2024 - For Lunch Went here for my birthday. First time I’ve been to Borsalino and WOW! Food was so good, fresh and tasty. Atmosphere was great and the decor is rustic ❤️. “What a lovely, welcoming place. We arrived mid afternoon and were delighted to find out hot food was on all day. My fish pie was piping hot and one of the best ever have ever eaten. The steak and ale pie was also tender and served with an incredible topping. The staff were kind, attentive and the place was had a warm ambience with great views. Highly recommend.”

“We had a late lunch in one of the domes in the grounds overlooking part of the golf course and 19th hole! Service was good but unintrusive. I had scampi and it was delicious with great attention to detail on sides too. (Vinegar in small spray bottle, delicious tartar sauce with minted pea puree and chips. Lemon was covered with muslin to prevent seeds falling on to your food. 10/10.”

“This is one of the best restaurants in Aberdeen. Located by the pier and beach, the ocean views are lovely. Staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful, and professional. The wine and drinks selections are excellent, with something for everyone. The star of the show, though, is the delicious and inventive food. I had the halibut, which was fresh and delicious, and served with baby potatoes and runner beans in a remarkably delicious sauce. My husband had the hake, perfectly cooked, with fennel salad, garlic mash, and this amazing roasted pureed garlic with basil oil. Delicious! We shared the sticky toffee pudding and misogyny caramel sauce with ice cream that was so indulgent and such an inventive take on the ubiquitous dessert. A perfect meal!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We booked Carron to Mumbai in Stonehaven on the day for a large family group of 12, including grandparents and a 6-month-old baby, after a funeral. From start to finish, the team couldn’t have been more accommodating. Drinks were topped up promptly, and the service was attentive without ever feeling overbearing. The menu offered all the well-loved classics alongside some really interesting dishes I hadn’t seen before. We shared pakoras, bhajis, poppadoms, dips, and sizzling meats to start, and I had the Karahi Chicken for my main—absolutely delicious. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The food was excellent, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the whole experience felt effortless despite us being a big group. Couldn’t recommend more highly!”

“Difficult to fault. We came here on a personal recommendation, and I'm struggling to find a reason for going to another Indian restaurant nearby. A wide selection of standard and non standard dishes was a good start, as was listing the starters as vegetarian, and non-vegetarian! “I went here solo as someone out of area as well! And it was great. The bar staff were phenomenal, attentive and just plain good. I brought a book with me and hunkered down at the bar for a couple of hours. There was a real sense of the place being a bit like a speakeasy and being alive with chatter (which was great background noise for my reading). I ended up chatting with some locals at the bar which was great! Proves are about average. The cocktails are lovely. I'm just gutted I didn't get to try the banana cocktail (next time!). It was such a great atmosphere that I didn't want to leave but plans required a moderately good bed time! I will be back!”

“Absolutely brilliant hotel. Staff were always so helpful, polite and friendly, rooms are of good size and have all the usual things you’d need. (Only thing i would say to the hotel is get some plug sockets installed bear to the bed when possible). Breakfast was really very good, and the same could be said about the restaurants evening meals, VERY generous portions, all tasted lovely and at a great price. Look forward to my next stay here.
