“Difficult to fault. We came here on a personal recommendation, and I'm struggling to find a reason for going to another Indian restaurant nearby. A wide selection of standard and non standard dishes was a good start, as was listing the starters as vegetarian, and non-vegetarian! We all had mains only, and remarked on the presentation, quality and freshness of the food. Friendly service and good value”

“This was my 5th visit for Sunday Lunch and it did not disappoint, in fact actually exceeded my expectations, this must be the tastiest Roast Beef Lunch in Aberdeen and the Shire … having tried numerous at various restaurants. The service was excellent with very friendly staff. A must for anyone looking to treat themselves!!”

“Visited Aberdeen for a family wedding, the Charlotte apartments were perfect for all our families to stay together without sharing spaces and not to mention the affordable price. Rooms were all clean, kitchen had everything we needed and the location was ideal as it was close to the airport. Would recommend staying at if youre there for 2/3 days+. I hope to visit again soon”

“The "Flagship" is a great and must place to visit for an EFP (Equity French Punk). First step in my quest of stamps to complete my intergalactic passport to the global Brewdog bars. Very comfy sofa. Quiet (not loud, so very enjoyable to me) good rock music. With extra amazing beers of course. Professional and very kind young barmaid. Will definitely come back.”

“First time here last night for a friend's birthday meal. The food was excellent and we had attentive service from our waiter. The food was reasonably priced and our per person cost included lots of drinks & service tip!! Our table was from 4 - 7pm and then we reserved the area in their bar for a few drinks afterwards. “What a great find. We tried to walk in on Saturday evening but they were fully booked so we came back today for lunch. What lovely staff; everyone we encountered was smiling. Great menu, food delicious. We especially appreciated our waiter who was attentive, deft, cheerful and who only came over once to check how we were doing. Another recent restaurant visit was slightly marred by the frequency of "Is everything alright" which put our teeth slightly on edge! Today on the other hand, I was sure that we would have been able to catch our waiter's attention had we needed to. We had the hummus and the terrine for starters, the steak and chicken for mains and would recommend them all. Oh and our table upstairs had wonderful river views. All in all, a very enjoyable experience! We shall be back.”

“We recently stayed at the Hilton Teca during a trip to Aberdeen to visit family. A few days prior to arriving, I received an email letting me know that we had received a complimentary room upgrade which was a pleasant unexpected surprise. On arrival, we were given such a warm welcome from the reception team members Victoria and Maria. We were told that our upgrade also included access to the exec lounge, although we were not able to use this during this trip. Our room (416) was large and clean and the giant bed was super comfortable, the view did look out on to a main road, but it was incredibly quiet, so you wouldn't even know. Each night of our stay we'd head to the bar for a night cap, all the restaurant/bar staff we met were super friendly and helpful, particularly Shane and Eilidh who took great care of us over the 3 days we stayed. Breakfast was well stocked and varied, although more vegan options would always be appreciated. The gym and spa were clean and a great space to relax. We will definitely stayed here again.”

“Excellent choice for our Sunday lunch for four. Friendly welcome and well presented, tasty lunches. Especially enjoyed the Skirlie Chicken. Perhaps some training opportunities for one of the waiting staff, who delivered a three quarter filled pint of beer and also could have avoided delivering over other people’s plates. Beer was topped up and good choice of Wainwrights’s and Hobgoblin. Mains were worth the wait but 35 minutes seemed too long. All in all an excellent lunch. And sent off with a piece of Mrs Tilly’s tablet. We’ll be back.”

“This was a really great find, especially if you like well cooked lamb. I ordered the Lamb Shish, which was probably the best lamb I had during our weeks in Scotland and Ireland, or at least tied with a dish I had in Dundee. Really tender and flavorful, really, really good. My wife had the Halloumi Cheese & Vegetable Shish which she really liked as well. Servers were friendly, quick and efficient. McEwans on tap was really good. Lucky to have stumbled upon this place.”

He greeted us with a warm smile, guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations, and demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the dishes. His suggestions were spot-on — especially when it came to flavour pairings and spice levels — and it was clear he genuinely wanted us to enjoy our meal to the fullest. Throughout the evening, Zoltam checked in at exactly the right moments: never intrusive, always considerate. He anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, whether it was topping up drinks, providing extra sauces, or ensuring dietary preferences were accommodated flawlessly. His timing and attention to detail were impeccable. The food itself was delicious and beautifully presented, but Zoltam’s outstanding service turned a great meal into a fantastic experience. It’s rare to come across someone who takes so much pride in their work and creates such a positive, relaxed, and enjoyable atmosphere for guests. “Absolutely incredible! Wild Ginger is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in Aberdeen. The food is utterly delicious, every single dish I’ve tried has been full of flavour and beautifully presented. The Chilli Broccoli is honestly one of the best appetisers I’ve ever had (and that’s coming from a meat eater!). The venue itself is spotless, the décor is elegant and inviting, and the staff are genuinely lovely. The owner and manager truly go above and beyond for their customers, making every visit a memorable one. It’s a real shining gem in Aberdeen for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine. Big shoutout to their Mango Lassis and Peshwari Naan too , they’re absolutely perfect. And don't get me started on their incredible butter chicken curry... wow! Couldn’t recommend Wild Ginger enough!”
