“Absolutely amazing service, atmosphere and most of all the taste!! Will definitely be back again”
“This venue is very nicely presented with great service from the moment of entry to leaving. Tried the shisha and for a none smoking person I can say it was worthwhile. The chicken wings were huge and nice as well. The sound of the wet Waterfall wall and the music is somewhat different and pleasing. I recommend you try.”
“We went to Birmingham to try iranian food. Had 2 Iranian friends. Food was hot and fresh. People serve you with a smile and fast service and happy to help. Their was also music and songs which gave nice atmosphere to the place . We had a lovely meal.”
“Been today after the renovation and now I think, new owners. They now serve alcohol. The place pretty much looks the same as before but cleaner, however their menu has changed - long story short, their prices have gone up and their portion size has gone down and no-one likes that (picture where food is served in a white plate was before renovation) (the video is when we visited today, both mixed grill, you can see the portion difference) ordered Halloumi cheese which was around £5-7 if I didn't look at my bill the girl would've over charged me £13 for this (which is equivalent to a meal) lol these mistakes cannot be happening.. before renovation used to be my regular if I want turkish cuisine,.. I don't know about that anymore..”
“Very few places are great for a buffet and this is one of them. The staff work hard to keep the areas clean. They are friendly and approachable. The food is of a great standard with a wide variety and very impressive.”
“My dad came today for his annual golf club Christmas lunch, everything was five star. The food and service were outstanding, the staff were very accommodating with his needs, the disabled access is brilliant which made it so much easier for my sister and I. Thank you all so much we will definitely be back.”
“Really nice snacks.. good Arabic tea and coffee too!”
“Beautiful food. We stumbled across this place accidentally and were blown away. It wasn't greasy and though I was full I fell good. Very very good food!”
“They have FIFA and shisha too - see end of my review. I'm a huge foodie and I rarely give 5 stars, but this place thoroughly deserved it. I ordered falafel and hummus for starters, I forgot the name of my main but it was the grilled lamb served with steamed rice, a side of Persian salad (half eaten in the picture) with a big piece of thin naan bread (also half eaten). To drink I had fresh pineapple juice. All the food was delicious, served hot and cooked to perfection. The lamb was amazing, very soft and tender, full of flavour. Presentation was also spot on as you can see in the pictures. Interior is very nice and gives a Persian feel with the music. Portion sizes were just right, the service was great from the moment I walked in, very friendly and polite. FIFA and shisha: I didn't smoke shisha but I asked to see upstairs and the manager offered me a game of FIFA on the projector. Seems like a really nice place to chill out, the picture with the light brown chairs is upstairs (shisha area). Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again!”
“Good shisha, nice staff. 12 pounds for shisha.”
“You know what, I didn't even expect much, especially seeing a mountain of binbags outside and a bad smell, But at the kiosk, the food smelt amazing, considering it looks a bit back street 7.99 for a wrap seemed expensive, but I tell you what, it was absolutely amazing and worth every penny. The rain came down and we ate in a little seating area out the back, perfect for a quick midday lunch”
“One of the best Shawarma wraps I’ve ever had! The gentleman is very kind and respectful. He kept his smile all the time and was ready to offer any support. Highly recommended.”
“Don't be underestimated by the size of this shop. The food is delicious. Menu is limited but what do you expected from a small business. The owner/worker of the shop is a very friendly and welcoming man who also let me try the meat before I bought a meal. 9.5/10 will be coming back!”
“The restaurant looks really nice since the recent refurbishment, beautiful and clean with great service and pricing for the portion served. Family rooms cater for a more private setting for sisters which is considerate and the food is soo flavoursome (I recommend the lentil soup to start with and for mains, chicken wings). Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes :)”
“Wonderful service. Incredible staff. And food to match! Falafel and halloumi wrap was 10/10 and the apple carrot and ginger is spot on! Thank you and see you again soon!”
“Initially I wanted to get a takeaway dinner from Rudy’s but they were too busy for a quick takeaway collection. Went here instead and tbh this was much tastier and obviously healthier than pizza. Place is clean, food was reasonably priced and service was quick and professional! I’d go back again!”
“Such an amazing gem of a restaurant. The best and most humblest owner and host, made us feel so welcome - he especially showed incredible care to my 1 year old. On to the food, everything looked and tasted AMAZING! The salad was TOP notch and the meat was SOOOO succulent and mouth watering. The sauces were SPECIALLY amazing, much much better than any we get elsewhere - owner makes it himself! If we were local to the restaurant we’d be there ALL the time.”
“Ali was incredibly helpful to sort out an outfit for family gatherings - especially with recommending the best material, colour and fit after we’ve tried a few shalwar kameez’s. Thank you so much for your amazing service and kind smile!”
“Very clean and great location. I had a large falafel wrap for £5 Money well spent! Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend ☺️”
“Another great meal with friends at Tradita. Well cooked food, generous portions (don't eat here unless you're hungry or want to get a doggie bag!). We'll be going back for more next time we have chance.”
“Visited this place with my friend before and it was so good I came back again with my wife today. The service was fantastic and the food tasted amazing from starters to mains to the Moroccan tea. I loved the visuals of the place and although I've not been to Morroco I felt like I was there. The friendly and attentive guy there made me enjoy my food even more. I would definitely recommend a visit. The price was also good considering the current cost of everything. Easily spend within £20 per person which gets you starter, main and a drink. Me and my wife spent £44 for the 2 starters, 2 mojitos, 2 mains (served with bread) and Morrocan tea.”
“is a fantastic place to enjoy authentic Persian cuisine! The dishes are rich in flavour, beautifully presented, and made with fresh ingredients. From the juicy kebabs to the aromatic rice and stews, everything tasted homemade and delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the owner genuinely kind, attentive, and professional. You can really feel the Persian hospitality. A perfect spot for a relaxing meal with friends or family.thanks to majid and his lovely Mother we had a blast . Highly recommended!”
“From the moment we walked into Al Yemen As-Saeed in Birmingham, we knew we were in for something special. The place had that authentic Yemeni warmth — simple, clean, and filled with the aroma of fresh bread, sizzling meat, and spices that instantly transport you straight to the heart of Yemen. The atmosphere was alive yet calm, the kind of spot where you can relax, talk, and enjoy real food made with love. We went for breakfast, and honestly, every single dish hit harder than the last. We ordered Fahsa, Lahsa, eggs, Foul, and Shakshuka — each one bursting with flavor and depth. The Fahsa came bubbling in its clay pot, tender meat swimming in rich, spiced broth. The Lahsa was creamy, comforting, and full of soul. You could tell right away these recipes came from tradition, not trend. The Foul was perfectly seasoned, earthy, and satisfying — the kind of dish that makes you slow down and appreciate every bite. The Shakshuka, meanwhile, had that perfect balance of tangy tomato and rich egg, each spoonful a little celebration of morning done right. Even the eggs, simple as they sound, were cooked perfectly and seasoned with care. Then came the Chai Adani — and that sealed it. Strong, sweet, spiced just right — the kind of tea that makes conversation last longer and mornings feel softer. You could honestly come here just for that tea and walk out happy. The staff were kind, attentive, and down-to-earth. There was no rush, no fake smiles — just genuine service that made the whole experience feel personal. It wasn’t just about eating; it was about being welcomed, being reminded that food can carry culture and warmth across oceans. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Al Yemen As-Saeed is more than a restaurant — it’s a taste of home, a reminder of how powerful food can be when made with heart. Every dish outdid the one before it, and I’ll definitely be back one day, Insha’Allah.”
“Amazing fast food place. Personally have never tasted such exquisite food in my life. The cheese burger meal is my absolute favourite! Good quality food. Should try it out if you're around!!!”
“It was an unexpected visit but wow, what an amazing restaurant. From the decor outside to the inside, service and food was all such good quality. Next time we visit family in Birmingham we will be eating there.”
“Incredible food, lovely lovely staff and great atmosphere. The lamb biryani we got had the most tender lamb we've ever had in a curry, every dish was brilliant and great portions. Will defo be coming back. Even the toilets were incredible lol very clean.”
“I had a lovely experience of eating at Chelo. It's a Persian kitchen with authentic flavours and superb dining experience. I loved Chicken Koobideh with flat bread and fries as side. I loved their baklava and saffron ice cream. The staff was hospitable and welcoming. Paris who served me was professional and had superb customer service skills. I shall come here again.”

“Really nice Lebanese food. We've been here a few times to eat Love their hummus and flatbread. Staff are very friendly and helpful whenever I ask what I can have as a vegan The place is in a great spot as well in Sutton Coldfield and so nice and atmospheric to sit in and eat There is still plenty of items on the menu that I'd still like to try, so we will definitely come back here again Definitely recommend”
