“Previously visited Cheals when based in Henley-in-Arden. This was our first time at their new location in Knowle and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant is much more spacious now and the interior tastefully decorated. So, first impressions were great. Our waiter gave a warm welcome and expertly guided us through the menu and wine list. A very capable front of house team. My wife and I opted for the a la carte lunch menu and with each course our enthusiasm for the next grew. The hardest thing is deciding between all the tempting choices on offer, so if your budget stretches to it, I'd go for the tasting menu for a real treat. The highlight for us both was the dessert course. What a selection of moreish puddings skillfully prepared. Hats off to their patisserie chef. We chose Cheals for our second wedding anniversary and were delighted we did. We'll definitely be returning soon and would highly recommend it to others too.”

“We came for dinner on a Friday evening at 2030. It was out first time here and the small restaurant is lovely. Great atmosphere, modern decor and very clean and tidy. We were welcomed and seated quickly and had our drinks order taken by a young lady with brown hair who was very helpful and smiley! She informed us that the restaurant was very busy and there may be a small wait on food, which we didn't mind. Our drinks came quickly and she took our food order. We had the sharer platter for two. The food came out quickly, I certainly didn't think there was any kind of wait on food which is a credit to how hard the staff were working, especially the lady looking after us that did not stop the whole time we were in the restaurant and always happy to help and smiling. The food was absolutely delicious, our highlights were the ribs and the pork burger and there was plenty of it! We couldn't finish the platter. A brilliant experience for us with delicious food and 10/10 service. Would highly recommend and look forward to coming again.”

“Ladies…. Sheila @ Boldmere barbers next door to the chippy is fantastic for ladies trims. I couldn’t get a hairdresser appointment so booked in with Sheila, she was so accommodating as she trimmed 3-4 inches off, washed & blow dried my hair, all in 40 minutes Sooo much quicker & cheaper than the hairdresser. It’s a beautiful cut even though just a trim so Sheila is definitely my new go to for haircuts. You really have to give it a go ladies, who doesn’t want a gorgeous haircut whilst saving time & money! “Over christmas 2025 my boiler stopped working. Gastek came out, diagnosed the issue. It was time for the boiler to go into permanent retirement, they just couldn't go on any longer. Wasn't really ready for that scenario, but had to respect their wishes and that it was time to say goodbye old friend you served us well. A replacement was sourced through gastek (bearing in mind this is the christmas shut down period) and within 2 days we had a new boiler installed by the gastek engineers. Just in time for the minus temperatures that hit us new years eve 2025. Gastek do take care of you. No matter what time of year it happens to be.”

“Amazing accidental find and been twice in two days so well impressed with this place. It’s a small cosy family run Italian pizzeria with lots of atmosphere, great food and an amazing chef with his team. So for an 8pm booking, we had cocktails at the bar, starters, pizza (one of which was Vegan and Gluten free), followed by Tiramisu and Limoncello to end the evening - lovely night for first time visit. Big thanks for Chef Toni, Luke and Christian for their hospitality.”

“I ordered afternoon tea to be delivered for Mother’s Day. (2 adults 1 child’s) I was so impressed, it arrived in plenty of time on the day and the quality of the food was 10/10. You can tell everything in the box was 100% homemade, quality produce. My sons kids box was ace too lots of sweets and fun bits in there for him so he was a happy boy!
