“A proper Pub serving Black Country ales and guest beers. Also, the excellent Wyre pork pies(plenty of choice, pork and pickle, black pudding etc.)and cobs. Beer Garden out the back. Not sure if they have parking, but well worth the short walk from the High street. Very friendly and helpful staff and locals.”

“Took my granddaughter to see Aladdin having never been to the Core before and was blown away by the venue, the show and the pantomime itself It was fun , witty , and the dame( who by the way was excellent) with lots of audience participation . It was very up to date with jokes about the area , the news and take offs of television like mastermind and the film ghost . It was a joy for the children, but also a brilliant afternoon out for the adults Best pantomime I’ve seen ever !!! Elaine Rayner”

“Excellent micro pub. Impressive selection of their own brewed beers and guest ales. Huge real ale selection and some craft keg beers. Service was very efficient as was very busy when I visited due to the Kidderminster Halesowen match.”

“If you looking for small independent coffee shop where you can have great coffee or chocolate, please visit this place immediately! Such a friendly staff, which know what they’re doing and their passion for coffee is great. Gentleman there has 9 years experience with the coffee! You can pay with card or cash, coffee cups are so cute and adequate size, lovely coffee taste (not milky like almost everywhere), great choice of coffee beans (medium roast). “Went in here last week to buy a racket, unsure on which to buy i was offered a trial to test any amount of rackets for 3 months! all for a £100 deposit which i would get back after my chosen racket was brought. Great shop, friendly staff that can't help enough and brilliant advice!”

“Not one to leave a review. Visited here for a wedding yesterday. ALL staff are incredibly helpful, despite being rushed off their feet & ALL provide an impeccable service. Great example, the queue at the bar “WHAT QUEUE” I have to mention the main lady in glasses assisting with the wedding FANTASTIC character & the youngest girl assisting her FABULOUS too. Start to finish the team made a great effort to ensure everything was run super smooth. They helped make this wedding a SUPERB event. Really surprised to enter into the actual social club from the wedding area. To find it packed to the brim with regulars. This place deserves its loyal attendees. Well organised in general, there’s a pleasant & processional guy sat in the foyer. He also deserves a pat on the back. The most organised “social club” I have entered to date. I have high standards & am seldom impressed. Social clubs are most definitely “not my thing” so to speak. Hey this place deserves a mention!!! Thanks everyone, regards “the real vegetarian””

“We visited the Miele store twice in the past month and were helped both times by Joe. He helped us navigate the frankly overwhelming worlds of vacuums and washing machines. I wanted to say how knowledgeable and polite he was throughout. Genuinely top customer service.”

“This used to be my local pub just over 10 years ago. I was there again recently and I believe it's been refurbished. Still a great pub to go to with friends and catch up and have a pint!”

“Enis was our waiter and what an absolute delight he was. He is extremely polite, welcoming and honestly made our experience there so much more enjoyable. My husband and I have walked out of restaurants in the past due to the appalling service received but we will definitely be returning back here for Enis's service alone! Hope management see this and give him the recognition he deserves, he is an amazing worker and gives off an amazing energy which really does make your whole experience there better, even my husband agreed this guys service was outstanding and Enis brought a smile to him aswell... p.s food was lovely too!”

“Cherry Reds is a hidden gem! Lovely traditional Cafe Bar with nice decor and a cosy atmosphere. Menu selection is extensive and includes a wide variety of vegan/vegetarian options alongside traditional English food and drinks. The Diddy Breakfast was excellent quality and tasted delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. An added bonus is the selection of cask and keg ales available. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Birmingham!”

“Part Pub; Part Community Hub - All Dog. This pub is truly a special and quirky place where I have been fortunate enough to make many great friends down the years. From the top quality Guinness, to gigs in the garden amongst an assortment of curios, to post match pints cheek and jowl with some poet in the corner. This place is unashamedly real and non-manicured, and is the perfect potion (they serve them too) for the cookie cutter offering of many other ‘boozers’ out there. Under new management who are putting their mark on the place, but keeping the legendary and irreplaceable vibe in tact.”

“I've been coming to Scruffys for a fee years and I've always been a big fan of it, the staff are attentive and do very well. They have a great selection of cocktails they handle extraordinaryly well and customised to songs and bands etc. They do band events and have 2 floors. A pool table. Great pint and liqour selcetion. Always clean, tidy. Many seating areas. Including to sofa lounges where you can charge your phones etc by plug or USB. Great Comfort and the crowd are always friendly and familiar. Theyre is also a jukebox when they don't have dj or gig nights, I believe don't qoute me. Prices are fair. Smoking area out front als”

“A basic Marstons Pub, so generaly competent, but no Michelin stars. What sets it apart from the rest are the staff, who just do their job properly, which is more than you can say for a lot of places nowadays. Everything just seems effortless. Recommended.”

“Within The Hare and Hounds you have a place called Bad Boy Wings, me and friends tried a combination of all their wings all very much had their own style of taste, and all very nice juicy and fresh but my personal favourite were the Korean BBQ wings star of the show for me, I also had a double smash cheeseburger with like a mustard dressing worked very well and the pint of Cruzcampo wasn’t half bad either, service was good and quick highly recommend.”
