During my two years of sixth form I engaged with many of these opportunities for example chances to network and familiarise myself in environments that I aspire to find myself in post education, including visits to organisations in Birmingham and London as well as a variety of events and talks at the university; an example the Women in Finance conference. I also had the pleasure of attending a lunch at the House of Lords as a representative of the school. These sorts of experiences are what taking learning beyond the classroom is all about and not the kinds of things accessible to just any organisation. I will be forever grateful to the incredibly dedicated staff who have the most inspiring dedication to not only their subject/ job but for the wellbeing and success of every individual student. “We stayed at the Travelodge over Christmas whilst visiting family in Boldmere. We were two adults and a toddler in a family room. Not expecting too much but beds and our own space, we were very pleasantly surprised. The family room was incredibly clean (wish I could hoover that well!), at the end of a corridor so quiet and beds were very comfortable. The single beds for children were a good height for my toddler. We checked in on Christmas Day and had a really warm welcome and the staff were eager to help throughout our stay. Really impressed and has seriously made us consider other Travelodges for other UK breaks.”

“I'd been going to this dental practice for over 10 years and always had an excellent experience. I don't understand why there are negative reviews. It is easy to get an appointment, and you are told that cancellations will be charged if there is less than 48 hrs notice. Mal, the receptionist, is very polite and professional, and also makes the effort to talk to patients in the waiting area - I always enjoyed our conversations. The dentist and dental nurses are kind, gentle, and informative. Sadly, we recently moved away from the area and can no longer attend this practice - I wish more dental practices were like Perry Park Dental.”

“Cheap parking for the area, opposite The Library, I had just 2 options to pay, use coins or call an automated number, they also have an app called RingGo. Tricky to get here if you don`t come from Brindley Place area, the main road at the back of the parking has just one entry point which is a bus lane, apparently not enforced yet. Google Maps managed to get me lost so watch out. I used Cambridge St as destination to avoid being taken on a long detour to get to this car park.”
