“Fantastic food and service! Popped in for a curry whilst staying in Hagley on route to Ffestiniog . So glad we did!! Great to be able to bring our own wine but the mango lassi was superb !! Would totally recommend and hope we can visit again soon.”

“Best Indian food for miles... good prices and great selection including soy tikka. Good range of beers including Butty Bach real ale and Cobra lager. Big TV screens to watch the big match too. Ignore the previous negative comments about not having Bathan's ales... yes, they don't but Butty Bach is just as good.”

“A fabulous end to a day out. The service was efficient and very friendly, I was truly amazed at the speed of delivery. The Merlot I highly recommend. All the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was so very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.”

“Libby was very warm, attentive and very polite. The breakfast was very enjoyable. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, some people were wearing their pyjamas and doing their make up. The music was at the right level where we could have a conversation without being drowned out. The pub was clean, tidy and very well set up. The manager came in after to help shuffle some chairs which was nice to see, she even made the effort to have a lovely chat. Overall a very good experience and I look forward in visiting again. The staff are an asset to the pub.”

“Went here for lunch from finding it on Google maps. It really is a lovely pub & the food was exceptional . They grow , cook & bake most of the food in house . It was so nice to visit a traditional family owned pub & restaurant in the countryside which isnt a chain . The lady who served us was very friendly too. Its also situation beside a small lake & has ample outdoor seating.”

“I've never had pizza like it it's so fresh u watch them sorting the fresh dough and make it right in front of you. The chicken fillets are lush and kebab meat is definitely lamb u can taste the freshness......and the bbq chicken wings well I would definitely say they got to b tried they r to die for.”

“A really big thank you to Jodie and her team for yesterday evening from Bromsgrove Astronomical Society. We held our annual inter-society Christmas Quiz in the function room with some 40 of us attending. Everybody commented on the excellent buffet , not only the quality but quantity. The facilities were really good and service excellent and this all contributed to a wonderful evening. Again a big thank you to the Court Leet. We’ll be back next year Dave Jones”

“Don’t pass this place by. It may seem odd; what is it? A cafe or a Gym? Do they sell kitchens? Actually found it to serve incredibly tasty food at very reasonable prices. Just had a superb lunch there (open sourdough Thai satay vegan chicken thing) and despite the town being busy, there were plenty of tables. I hope more people discover this place; it deserves your support.”

“Tried the lamb kebab] and it definitely hit the spot. The meat was juicy, well-seasoned, and grilled just right with a slight char for extra flavor. The wrap was warm and soft, and the garlic sauce tied everything together perfectly. Fresh veggies added a nice crunch. Portion size was solid for the price. Would happily go back for another!”

“I live in California now, but I always crave proper fish n chips when I visit home. Not many places are decent any more so I always have to drive a little further to come here. The fish n chips are delicious. Cooked in beef dripping which is the only way they should ever be done.”

“We were staying nearby so decided to try here. Not been to a beefeater in years. We felt the main courses were expensive and pretty dull. So decided to mix it up and get 4 starters to share plus a side. It was a very large portion but overall good. Puddings were tasty too and great cocktails. Generally OK if you think outside the box about what to order. Our waitress was lovely too!”

“Excellent hotel. With spa, gym, conference room, swimming pool and restraunt.. You can even have your wedding reception here as well. Located just outside Bromsgrove, easy accessible by car and public transport. Car park cost £5 per night. ( Oct 2025 prices) The staff were very welcoming, and very polite. The bar area where I had a coffee was clean and spacious. My room was spacious, clean, excellent wifi, TV and tea/coffee facilities and the shower/bath had plenty of hot water. And it was lovely and quite.”

“A young bar worker who i believe to be know as callum called me his driver (who drives a lamborghini) to pick me up and drop me home safe after I had accidently taken an heroic dose of ibuprofen. Jolly good show”
