“It’s just so good! Sets the standard for excellent pizzas, lovely people and good drinks. It’s a cut above the chain sourdough pizza places and I love the relaxed vibe. Have probably been 5 times all in all and never been disappointed. A mix of groups, couples, families all catered for really well. Oh also a great selection of vegetarian options that are the norm rather than an afterthought. Really highly recommended. The pizza oven is very big and a nice feature too!”

“Been a few weeks since I visited this delightful little restaurant and only got round to writing a review. Sorry it took so long. What can I say... amazing authentic Japanese, Thai, Korean Chinese food made fresh to order with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavours.  Not many of these halal options around and for the ones I've tried its hands down one of the best I've been to in Birmingham. Now has seating and is beautifully done up in side. To top it off its complimented with a welcoming team and excellent friendly customer service. “We were looking for a quick and tasty dinner, Rayu exceeded our expectations. Very friendly staff which gives the seating area a 'kitchen table' vibe. The portions were excellent and the food delicious. Lots to choose from and they manage to do justice to dishes from lots of different countries. We recommend the prawn mee goreng!”

“First time coming to this restaurant and there’s a reason this is the number one pizza place in Birmingham. The pizza I had was Eat, Meat, Repeat and it was absolutely delicious. Also got some garlic bread with it and that was gorgeous too. All reasonably priced as well and the drinks are bottomless so have as much as you want. Staff nice and polite and the atmosphere was great. Will call here again.”

“I doubted family run Traditional Italian Restaurants after experiencing so so quality food and samey options delivered by overly passionate staff. Portobello Restaurant has put my faith back in the Italian culinary experience. On entering I was met by grounded, accommodating staff that ensured I was happy with the choice of table. Staff were smiley, chatty and assisted joyfully with the menu options. I opted for some nibbles and their excellently priced 2 courses for £19.95. The atmosphere in Portobello Restaurant is relaxed, sociable and family oriented. The minimalist artistic interior beams with natural light. Dishes were superbly presented, quality was evidently high. The jelly babies and hand written “thank you” on the bill echoed the care they provide to their customers. A wonderful experience.”

“this food is to die for its like I have had other foods before but this one hit the 10 out of 10 its exquisite and yes you only use that word for good good things but this is amazing when you walk in is like walking in heaven the food just no words delivery fast food only takes like 5 minutes even if it takes a long time its worth the wait like this person orded 10 pizzas for a party and more they did it so that just shows how much they are commited to there job and the food smells so nice”

“This place really shocked me, could possibly be my favorite pizza place (currently Baked in Brick) found this place by mistake and blink and you will miss it. Set in the heart of Stirtchly this little gem looks tiny, but opens up into a fantastic beer garden in the rear, pizza was very very nice , base cooked perfect. Can't wait to go back”

“Papaz explosion was the pizza shown. Was very tasty with the right amount of heat. Made my nose run but not my tastebuds. Started with freshly cooked chicken and fries, they were wonderful. Crispy fries, right amount of salt, and the chicken was tasty moist and skin was delicious. I had the pizza when I got home and was still warm and fresh. Not dry and firm. Owner is very friendly and helpful, wish I had a place like this near by. Amazing value as well, must check them out!”
