“Had some food from here for the first time last night, only a simple meal some plain fries and Korean fried chicken, we were really impressed with how exceptionally nice the food tasted It was fresh clearly cooked to order piping hot and so flavoursome and tasted amazing. The fries were so crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the centre The chicken huge breast portions oozing with tasty sauce. Very impressive The server was also super polite and friendly which is a pleasant change. Will be back for more !”

“Today we tried this as we normally order from our regular Chinese takeaway but fancied trying somehwere different. Food was really nice we had the salt and pepper munch box and black bean sauce. We really enjoyed it all and think it's good value for money as you get quite alot. we will be ordering from here from now on the future instead.”

“Popped over to Harvester Arden oak to have some food with the other half. I have never had bad service here but tonight's was the best by far. We were looked after by Maisey and Lucas. Both very professional, polite and made the experience very comfortable. “One of the best chippies in the West Mids, no hyperbole. The tables are always clean and tidy, the food is always spot on (delicious, piping hot and in generous portions) but the family-friendly customer service is really what sets this place apart as a local chippy that you want to return to time and time again with your friends or your family. I had cod bites and chips last time I was there and they tasted fresh and crispy - a nice alternative if you like your cod extra crispy.”

“Excellent customer service with delicious food. The staff were very helpful & greeted us with a smile, not something you get in Birmingham. They kept asking if anything else is required. We ordered a small tawa sharing for two people. The portion was more than enough, could be shared among 3 people depending on your appetite. The highlight for me was the cheese seekh kebabs which were very much alike to the Monal restaurant in Islamabad, Pakistan. The food was freshly prepared & was piping hot when it came to our table. It was perfectly spiced, taste delicious & worth the money. If you are looking for quality food this is definite the place to visit. The ambience is simple yet welcoming. The only thing I would say is the onions on the tawa plate were completely burnt so couldn't eat those. That is something to be looked to be improved. Apart from that definitely will be visiting again soon. Keep up the good work guys & i hope you keep the consistency of your service.”

“Chandani Chowk is one of our favourites. We had dinner there and ordered dal makhani with garlic naan and other starters. The food was rich, comforting, and had a proper homely Punjabi taste. The place has a warm, familiar feel, and being around Punjabi people just makes the experience better. Simple, satisfying food done right.”

“Have dined many times at San Carlo over the years living in Birmingham. Food is always good. Wine list caters to all budgets. And they have great seafood dishes. There are two levels to the restaurant and we were sat at a table tucked away which was great. Lots of mirrors with a ceiling full of artificial roses. It’s over the top but suits the venue and adds to the experience. Great wine. Lots of Italian choices. We had a couple bottles of the primitivo after a round of negronis (pleased an Italian place can make these well too) My starter was overdone under the grill. I’ve had the baked aubergine parmagiano many times and this unfortunately wasn’t their best. Monkfish tagliatelle and the shared dessert more than made up for it. The dessert was three mini portions per person and a limoncello shot for £9 each. Great value. Will look forward to my next visit.”

“This Chinese was spot on. We were staying at an Airbnb nearby. Ordering over the phone was super easy, so polite and helpful on the phone. Delivery was estimated 45mins, was about an hour - which I think is good. Delivery guy was nice and food was honestly top notch. We had duck, chow mein, spring rolls. All lovely and not greasy at all. Best Chinese I’ve had in ages. We’re a fussy bunch as well.”
