“The best Shisha Place by far, the food is restaurant level and the shisha is amazing as-well, the service is fast along with the funny and friendly servers especially “Jani”. Highly recommend as it is a hidden gem in bradford.”

“We thought we would try The George for a change as we have been going to the Golden Fleece on the occasions we can get out. We ended up staying the evening and having a great time. There was a good atmosphere, and the bar staff were very friendly. I can't remember names other than I think Megan. Very handy knowing it is dog friendly too. Will definitely return.”

“Went in here on a Thursday afternoon. It was busy. They had a sort of karaoke on and bingo. It was older end. They served free food which was a pleasant surprise. I'd recommend it.”

“So I've been here a few times as someone who doesn't live in Brighouse. Brighouse is an underestimated town and nowhere typifies the great attitude of the local populous more than this pub. Friendly,. Welcoming and several rooms with set functions like sport and music. If you happen to know a pub that is cold and unwelcoming show them this place. THIS is how a pub should be run.”

“High quality traditional Sunday lunch. The meal was superb, the team (staff, managers and owners) are relaxed and welcoming and the drinks excellent. The music and atmosphere was great as always. “The black horse is a little gem of a pub in the heart of Thornton village. Dee and Ian the hosts are so warm,friendly and welcoming and have always got time for you. The black horse has a fantastic atmosphere, gets quite busy and caters for everyone all year round. There's a lovely beer garden to sit in in the summer and when winter is here its nice and toasty inside with the heat from the wood burning stove. So come on give this little pub a try!”
