“What a lovely place. my recommendations to try chefs handmade beef pie. it was so delicious ,beef was soft and juicy. you can choose between large or small, trust me - word small not always means that. ordered small pie , but it was so filling, couldn't even think about pudding ,after finished it. while we were eating , we could enjoy nice outside view looking through conservatory. the owners of this place are very pleasant , they welcomed us very warm and made sure we have everything what we need. as we had special Sunday menu , looking forward to come back and try more home made food!! :)”

“Simple, good range of drinks, lovely atmosphere, wonderful staff. Now owned by Kirkstall Brewery, which turned it into a trad pub complete with fake fireplace and Leedsy prices. Still quite a nice bar, but has lost its unique character (and former staff).”

“I wanted to update my previous review to say how impressed I am with how Square Apple handled my concern. My first order was far too spicy, even though I’d asked for it to be mild, and I was left quite disappointed. However, the owner personally reached out with a thoughtful and sincere response, offered both a refund and a complimentary meal, and even explained how to request the lamb chops washed of the spice.. I followed that suggestion this time, and the meal was absolutely delicious, tender, perfectly seasoned, and just right for my taste. Mistakes can happen, but how a business responds makes all the difference. Square Apple showed true professionalism and care, and I really appreciate the way they handled everything. I’ll definitely be ordering again.”

“Always wanted to try food in so today brought the parents along to try out the food so on food thoughts waiting time was was fine service was very professional plus friendly also the food was a delicious very tasty plus very filling my parents had the burgers which looked very well presented and from what they said very tasty . The price for 3 meals plus drinks just under £50 which you definitely can’t go wrong with but you can taste the difference between a spoons meal and a very well cooked meal . Definitely will call back and try something else”

The burger was amazing and loved the presentation of it, very big and definitely tasty. Everything about this place from the decor , service and food is spot on... 10/10 for sure”

“Superb overnight stay . Perfect from start to finish. The staff were so friendly & welcoming and are a true asset to the place . We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday lunch on the evening offer with the wine . Everything was tasty, well presented and of an excellent quality. The bedroom had tasteful decor with a country feel . It was spotlessly clean and was an appropriate temperature for a great night's sleep. Breakfast the following morning was hearty and again all products were of excellent quality . We will definitely return again when in the area as the whole experience was perfect .”

“What a find this was. First impressions on entering the hotel, noticed that the garden was well tended with a neat, mowed lawn and pretty border flowers. A warm welcome and advice on where to park the car. Clean, modern and tidy throughout. Our spacious room overlooked the front garden and church on the road side, but was extremely quiet. The window opened fully, which is such a blessing as I do like fresh air, most hotels' windows only open a fraction. The bed was huge and comfy. The bathroom, very clean and midern, with plenty of fluffy white towels and a powerful shower. There's a hairdryer and iron if needed. Plenty of sockets to plug in your gadgets. Free WiFi. Smart tv. Breakfast was spot on, served by very friendly ladies, it came quickly and was hot and delicious, with quality bacon and sausage. Whilst waiting for friends, we had a short walk into the town centre. Which was quaint and had a friendly, warm feel to it. Close to pubs and eating places. Salts mill, Saltaire not far away, and a short journey into Bradford, which is a lovely city, with lots of historic architecture. Perfect. Will definitely be staying here again.”

“Myself, my Husband and our little boy popped in for a quick family meal. We couldn’t fault the food or service. The staff were really accommodating and brought out or little boys food first and made sure he had cutlery he could use. The food was hot, well presented and came out quick. When we visit the area again we will certainly be back! Thank you!”

“I am extremely fussy when it comes to breakfasts and very difficult to please. For example I don't generally bother with breakfasts in hotels as the quality of produce used is usually not good enough, cooked on mass and left for ages. The breakfast I had at The Lounge is without question the best I've ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection and the quality outstanding. A particularly special mention for the black pudding, which again was the best I've ever had. Great service on a busy morning just after the remembrance service in Myrtle Park, and the staff are all lovely. I'll definitely be back and will be eager to also try the evening menu!”

“I recently visited stump cross and tried their stump stack burger — and wow, it did not disappoint! The patty was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The fries on the side were crispy and golden. Great service and a relaxed atmosphere made it an all-around great experience. I’ll definitely be back again.”

“We had such a lovely dinning experience at The Fleece on Thursday 9th October! We booked a table for dad's 82 birthday and we were delighted with our choice of pub! The venue is not only special because of the beautiful building and setting - and autumnal and tasteful Halloween decorations - but we were mainly impressed by the very attentive service and amazing quality of every dish. The steak night options were superb, great quality of meat, cooking and sides dishes, and I had the best vegetarian meal I have ever had in a pub - delicious! and with very interesting and tasty accompaniments. Every dessert was gorgeous and beautifully presented, well above the quality and presentation of other pubs. The waiting staff were so very professional and made us feel so looked after! And we were so pleasantly surprised by the very thoughtful gesture for dad´s birthday on his dessert:) they made the evening extra special! Thank you to everyone at The Fleece for the wonderful dining experience! Very highly recommend. ( We are moving to the area soon and delighted to have such a wonderful pub on our doorstep!:):)”

“The food is excellent also affordable. The beer prices are Leeds prices £5 a pint for Coors. Two real ales- Black Sheep Blond and Black Sheep Best at £4.70 a pint. Great service . I would not recommend it as a local unless you have deep pockets..”

“We phoned on the off chance for a table this Sunday lunchtime and fortunately they managed to squeeze us in. We received a warm welcome here and the staff were brilliant throughout, as was the clientele. The Sunday carvery was quality and a choice of three sizes, all was cooked to perfection in particular the beef. Our first time here, but definitely not the last.”

“This place is awesome. Their spicy chicken burgers have me coming back here almost every weekend! They also accept card which is great, unlike a lot of other takeaways in the area who clearly don’t accept card to avoid tax!”
