“I like this shop a lot, a good selection of Polish and Eastern European products. I would recommend sausages and pierogi (dumplings), as they are different from the local ones. Also, the selection of cakes is delicious with cheese cake as my favourite one. Powidła - plum butter - that is my favourite kind of jam.”

“Brilliant kids book shop with a limited more adult non fiction range. The kids range of book is extensive and brilliantly presented all ages up to teenage years. Staff are lovely and helpful. Prices are perfectly reasonable. Kids chairs to sit and check out books before purchase. Really quaint atmosphere which is lacking in a lot of bookshops these days.”

“I had to return twice for my 4D scan as my baby wasn’t in the right position.. luckily the lady was able to capture my baby at the last minute but was extremely patient and even helped me with excercises to get her in the right position. I also had my gender scan here which was early but the person was able to get the gender of her in no time! The staff are all very welcoming and friendly”

“I have bought so many MagStan items, initially for my own kids but now Becky is my go-to for gifts for all family/friends that have babies/kids. I have ordered blankets, vests, babygrows, tees of many colours and a fair few sweatshirts too!! The quality is top notch and each item I’ve bought for my own kids have lasted so so well! Becky communicates really well via email and it’s really clear how long an order will take. The packaging is so cute and the wrapping means they arrive in perfect “ready to gift” state. “MotherRucker! Where to start, we booked a consultation as we’d been using a budget branded carrier occasionally with our Son, but had been struggling with comfort. We are planning a couple of trips to London and don’t want to take the pushchair. We walked away from our very thorough, interactive 45 minute consultation with 2 different slings on hire. MotherRucker has changed our lives. We used both slings daily for the 2 weeks we had hired them. But easily defaulted to one we loved! We can’t thankyou enough Lysanne, your passion was evident. “If you are looking for kids shoes, trainers, or boots then this should be your first stop. Staff are very knowledgeable and while the range is smaller than typical chains, their worst shoe is better than everyone else's best. We left with an excellent pair of trainers that visibly improved my daughters balance and gait. This place is a real find, go visit if you can - you won't regret it.”

“We visited the shop to find a more compact buggy for our little one. A lovely lady spent a long time with us and together we worked out what we wanted. She let us put our baby in the various styles and attach our rucksack so we knew how they would work for us. We ended up choosing a colour that wasn’t currently in stock so we preordered it. We had a few questions while we were waiting for it to be delivered and I was amazed by the super fast replies! I couldn’t be happier with the service in store or via messenger whilst we were waiting. As soon as they had the delivery of the buggy to the store, they sent it out to be delivered the next day. I wish I knew about this lovely little shop earlier in our baby journey!”

We were so lucky to have had Cynthia meet with us! She was organised and methodical in her approach, as well as so patient with our million questions! We also appreciated her approach to providing us with advice as we weren't met with the typical sales-y way of just trying to direct us to get whatever is most expensive; instead - she asked us about our lifestyle and expectations/requirements from the items we were looking to buy and provided her input based on that. We're not going to buy the items today, but know that when the time comes, we'll be coming back to this store and asking for Cynthia specifically!”

“Very knowledgeable and helpful staff I had severe morning sickness and they helped me find the perfect magnesium supplement which has helped tremendously. They also had freshly baked muffins and they were gorgeous. It's a haven for vegetarian vegan organic and alternative lifestyle essentials. Also they have community boards out front with really really interesting and helpful leaflet/services.”
