“Staff are nice and friendly , and very welcoming , I love the food also and a good atmosphere vibrant and fun , and then they have multiple tv’s showing multiple sports and games etc. which is great defo recommend. And you get 10% of your drink if you download the green king sport app and it works out as one of the, if not the cheapest pint going in Worthing .”

“Food was excellent and well prepared. Staff were great and very accommodating. This is a traditional pub which is reflected in the menu. There is a good selection of drinks available. Other patrons were welcoming so you don't feel that you are an outsider if you are not a regular at the establishment.”

“We decided to enjoy a roast at The Egremont and were lucky to arrive early enough to get the last table before they filled up with 100 pre booked roast dinners I ordered the lamb shank, while my friend chose beef, both served with crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, red cabbage, mashed swede, broccoli, carrots, and parsnips—much more than we expected! We also shared a giant portion of cauliflower cheese and some massive pigs in blankets, which we affectionately dubbed The Egremont sausage surprise. The food was delicious and plentiful, and I even shared some of the pigs in blankets with the neighboring table, & bought some food home - If you plan to go, I recommend making a reservation! “I came here in search of food to cater for my severe nut allergy having not felt confident to eat at another restaurant. The girl behind the bar was brilliant, and Chris the Chef was extremely thorough at checking all the ingredients and ensuring there was no cross-contamination. 10/10 for the service, and I will 100% eat and drink here again when passing through for work. 10/10 for the atmosphere too!”

“The quality of the food and service at The Corner House pub was absolutely exceptional. If you’re looking for the perfect place for a Sunday roast — look no further! You’ll be amazed at the portion sizes, especially the Yorkshire puddings, which were out of this world. Every single vegetable was cooked to perfection, with real care and quality shining through. We went as a small family of four and were completely blown away by just how good the food was. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming too, making it the ideal spot for a family meal. “A massive thank you for making my 60th last night so special (Nov 2nd, 2024). I've been going to this amazing pub since my 20's and more often in my mid 40's with my daughter and her crew. Good times were had & great memories were made. When asked what I wanted to do for my 60th, JB's was the obvious choice. I wasn't disappointed! This little pub hasn't changed in 40 years! Proper traditional pub. The staff are awesome! The barman even remembered me from 16/17 years ago! It was like 'going home'. Thank you to the staff and everyone, especially the new friends we made, for making my birthday so special! ❤️”

“We just had our work Christmas do at Indigo. The food was excellent, particularly the traditional Xmas dinner. Succulent turkey and crispy roast potatoes. The service throughout the night ran line clockwork and it was a great atmosphere.”

“Our evening at Thieves' Kitchen was fantastic! It was our last day of our holiday in Worthing and we are really sad that we didn't find our way to the pub sooner. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and lively. There were four of us and we brought our two dachshunds with us, who were given a warm welcome with a water bowl and dog biscuits, just like us. We highly recommend it and will gladly return if we are ever in the area again!”

“I've just moved into the area and this is my local pub. Lots going on, clean and tidy. It's clear the owners/management are working really hard to maintain a proper community pub and it would be great to see it busier.”

“Great location opposite the pier in Worthing and these burgers are AMAZING !!! Cooked to perfection and presented beautifully will definitely be coming here again soon. Might even have to try a few things from the cocktail menu next time as well!”

“Bit of a surprise as we came here a year or so ago and walked out due to the rude staff. Came back, different staff and...was pleasantly surprised. Food was good, atmosphere fun, and reasonably priced drinks. Came back a couple of days later! New fave bar in town!”

“Had a great meal here last night, food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. Chloe was very attentive to our needs and made sure we had everything we needed. The garden was large with plenty of seating and the pub welcomes dogs.”

“A crowd of us visited for Sunday lunch and had a great time. Most of us had the Sunday lunch which was enjoyed by us all - tasty and plentiful. The other food ordered was just as good. The girl who served (forget her name unfortunately) us was lovely - friendly and helpful. Only downside was lack of real ales choices. 4 pumps and only 2 in use - and one serving the ubiquitous bland Doom Bar. That said we all had a great time and would definitely return”

“Nikki and the team were brilliant. We had a large group and with the pre orders given to them a couple of days prior everyone's food came out hot and in great time. Staff here are always really nice and the kids get to play in the park, even with the cold weather. Great lunch catch up with the family and we will definitely be coming again. They were also brilliant when we had some car issues and went above and beyond to help us out. Thanks guys.”
