My Mum came down from the midlands recently to visit and ordered the chow mein which she said was the best she'd ever had. So much so, I have just ordered one for her to take up there with me tomorrow!”

“Really good! We had a lovely meal here. We were a party of five, all vegetarian. There was a big selection of vegetarian food, lots of tofu dishes, loads of vegetable dishes and rice and noodley things. They have nice soups too. The food comes out lightening fast and is super fresh and hot. You can order as much and as often as you like. Just make sure you eat it all. Recommended.”

“Highly recommended. Fast efficient service from a knowledgeable and friendly hardware store. Prices are very fair and key cutting was super fast, onw of the best I've had when obtaining spare keys for along while. So cheap I couldn't belive it! Proper old school shop and service. Not even 40 but appreciate honest decent service which generally doesn't exist now adays. Guy at counter was taking time to help elderly (guessing local) customers with a query and nothing seemed to much. Again something you don't see much any more. I don't leave many good reviews but this shop deserves the 5* and I hope this encourages more trade!”

“Called in on a whim on a rainy Monday night. Ordered my usual affair: onion bhajis, chicken tikka jalfrezi, pilau rice, peshwari nann. Really great flavours in everything and a nice kick of spice as expected. Generous portions, bring your own beer and good value for money. Service was pleasant when needed but left me to get on with it! A proper curry for those times when the posh one's at company events don't quite hit the spot. I'll definitely be returning when back in Brighton.”

“We came here for a pre-theatre dinner on a Friday night. It was 5.30pm so quiet when we came in, but it quickly filled up so possibly a good idea to book. The service was superb and the food came extremely quickly and was delicious. The vegetables were all fresh and tasty and everything was cooked to perfection. As we still had plenty of time we ordered dessert, which was also delicious. I love Thai food and this was amongst the best I have had. I would thoroughly recommend it.”

“My wife and I had dinner on Christmas Eve and it was really good. We both had pizzas that tasted fresh and full of flavour. The orange juice was really fresh and tasty. The end of meal latte was beautifully made. Good food and lovely friendly staff made for a really enjoyable meal.”

“Came here as it was a 5-minute walk away from our hotel, what a gem of a pizza place to find! There was a deal on where buying an XL-size pizza gets you a Small pizza for free - took that deal up and it ended up being my lunch & dinner the following day. Portion & toppings were superb (Mighty Meaty pictured), tasted top-notch (the Homemade Garlic sauce is lovely), and the owner was such a gentleman - great service all around, would highly recommend!”

“Such a great place with so many good vegan options! Nice owners, great and fast service. The starters came fast and hot! The mains are so tasty! The tofu is super fluffy and soaks in all the sauce and flavours. Beers for 4£ are a steal! We finished with the coconut sticky rice with mango. Can’t recommend this place enough. “I got a takeaway from this place and it was really good. The portion was big and the food tasted fresh and full of flavor. Some places add too much oil or turmeric just to make it strong, but this one didn’t. It tasted clean, authentic, and honestly really enjoyable. I’d order from here again for sure.”

“What a lovely restaurant! Very warm welcome. Good selection for vegetarians. We shared some light bites followed by sharing a Pizza Pesto. The pizza was the most delicious we have eaten in a long while. All washed down with the house red which was very acceptable. We were visitors to Lewes - this restaurant will encourage us to return!”

“It’s a family restaurant so it’s meant they work hard for the name and the food . I ordered chicken tikka biryani it’s was fabulous and delicious i ordered it again the next day . The restaurant was super clean and the staff was always smiling and helpful with your order . The portion is more than enough and ingredients was high grade and amazing. The wifi was very fast . “Wow, what an excellent Chinese takeaway! Very friendly staff, very reasonably priced, very efficient, the quality of food was fantastic with generous portions & remained hot by the time it arrived home. We were also given a free bottle of Coke, prawn crackers & mini spring rolls. The takeaway runs very smoothly, especially as it was Chinese New Year.
