“We had travelled from Hertfordshire for a day out in Brighton The atmosphere at the Ivy is excellent a beautiful blend of Art Deco luxury and contemporary style, with high ceilings, vibrant artwork, and that signature lively buzz that makes every occasion feel special. The service is truly where The Ivy excels. Our waiter was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was handled with smooth, effortless professionalism, from cocktail recommendations to clearing courses perfectly in sync. The food was excellent we had starters of Crispy Squid and Duck salad followed by mains of Guinea fowl cassoulet and the Queen Scallops and Prawn linguine. The Ivy Brighton delivered a sophisticated and completely flawless experience.”

Guy that served us was friendly and offered free curry or mushy peas since it was closing soon. The battered sausage was wonderful, chips excellent and peas a great addition. “We had a really lovely experience at Carne last night. The atmosphere is great; it’s warm and cosy but with enough space between tables to give it a romantic feel. The service was brilliant and the food was amazing. We had the filet steak as well as the tartar and the prawns to start. Everything was fabulous with great flavours and the steak was cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend for either a date night or a night out with friends. We loved it.”

“You can't come to Brighton without visiting this iconic hotel. We sat in the bar and had an afternoon snack. BLT | Toasted bread, streaky bacon. gem luttuce. homemade £14. Smoked salmon & tiger prawn. iceburg lettuce, avocado. lemon. £16. And two pots of tea. Thought the prices were quite reasonable for such an impressive hotel. The service was good and we especially like it here as you can sit with your dogs.”

Good prices and amount of food is well worth the wait. All food cooked to order, fresh, hot and full of flavour. A regular pit stop for us walking to the stadium which is about 20 minutes away. Popular place for a reason! Recommennded”

“My friends and I booked through First Table, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The restaurant is on Boundary Road, quite a way from central Brighton, but the interior is worth the trip — beautifully decorated and full of character. We were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, who offered some great suggestions. We tried their Turkish white wine, which was spot on, then moved on to starters and mains. The highlight for me was the lamb casserole — absolutely heavenly! What really sets this place apart from other Turkish restaurants I’ve been to is the pricing. Even without the 50% First Table discount, the menu is very reasonably priced. The only downside for me is the location, as it’s quite far from where I live (Preston Park). Still, I’d happily make the journey again for their food. Dined for: 3 Meal: Starter + mains + drinks Total bill: £109”

“Quite literally one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Certainly not one of the cheapest, but no questioning the value for money. The service from the staff is amazing, largely due to it being a family business. Visited for my birthday and took a sharing menu with wine tasting and every course was utterly sublime, each beating the last. The wine pairings were also beautiful and well described and explained by the staff. I cannot recommend enough coming to try this restaurant. I will 100% be back in the future!!”
