“Myself and my mum have been taking our boy Bear to Jo for quite a while now. We came to her as our previous groomers were behavioural ones and unfortunately gave up their business. Bear loves going to get groomed, he has come on so well since being there, I think it’s more to do with the fact he gets fed there! He loves all the attention and food he gets and he even lets Jo cut his claws and then makes him smell so nice! All the staff are so nice and pleasant and always talk to us, making us feel very welcome. Best of all, Bear is always knackered when he gets home and falls straight asleep!”

What i was greeted with was an exceptional spa like experience with a relaxation room, hot drinks, pleasant atmosphere and a great treatment. I was looked after by Laura who was not only an amazing conversationalist but also very experienced and good at her job. I am definitely coming back. “I joined Wickwoods in May 2024 and at the time, I had just been diagnosed as diabetic and really struggled to 'enjoy' any kind of gym I had ever joined before, very quickly cancelling my membership as I found it boring. Something had to change and I won't lie, when I initially signed up to Wickwoods it was not easy given the price but what I can honestly say is that in hindsight, it was one of the best decisions I ever made and it is worth every penny. I find the variety of classes, gym and racquet sports help keep me engaged and 18 months on I'm going 5/6 times a week and loving it, it's a great place to be for my mental health and I've reversed that diabetes also. The staff are so pleasant and I've made some great new friends also. If you are thinking about joining, I wouldn't waste any time in doing so, you won't regret it.”

She was very nice and she was being with precise when shaping my nails and painting french tips and the salon is clean and hygienic and I recommend going to this salon to do nail extensions which uses poly gel and these nails held for a month and used best quality products to keep my nails healthy!”

“Friendly staff and warm welcome. Nice range of temperatures in the steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs and pool. The manager has a great sense of humour and I can imagine the only reason why people may have found her abrupt (which I’ve read in some reviews) was if they were breaking a rule (and the rules are in place to keep people safe and having an enjoyable experience). She was especially fantastic when I was getting changed at the end and had lost a contact lens by bringing in a little mirror with light to help me locate it! Thank you :-) I went on the Saturday evening session from 5.30 and enjoyed the atmosphere and balance of couples. I am not sure i would enjoy it if I attended mid week and found it full of lots of guys but the time at which I attended I felt very safe and comfortable and had a relaxing evening. Lockers are provided with a key that you return to reception - so no need to pack a £1 or to carry the key around for anyone who may be wondering. Also parking is right outside on the street with a pay by phone app. Very convenient.”

Every single member of staff we interacted with was genuinely friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly valued throughout our stay. Travelling with our two Frenchies, Clouseau and Cato, can sometimes be a challenge, but the hotel could not have been more welcoming. The thoughtful touches in the room including a beautiful birthday platter, a dog bed, and a toy made the stay feel incredibly personalised. It’s rare to find a hotel that goes above and beyond not only for guests, but for their pets too. A special thank you to Moji, who handled my reservation with absolute excellence and made us feel like VIPs from the start. And of course, credit must go to Billy, whose cocktails were genuinely out of this world some of the best we’ve had anywhere. Clouseau and Cato had the best time, and so did we. As someone who works in hotel management, I can confidently say that Harbour Hotel Brighton sets a high standard for hospitality, service, and guest experience. We will definitely be returning very soon. If you’re considering booking this hotel stop thinking and book it. You won’t regret it.”

“I really enjoyed our stay here, and could tell that the staff put alot of effort into welcoming us. The towels were folded into flowers and all sitting on our beds. The room was in very good condition, and the beds comfy. The only downside was taking our bigger luggage bags down the narrow stairwell because there is no lift.
