“Love this local gem. Dropped in this evening after a long day of cooking roasts ourself. New menu item was deep fried olives with a tangy dipping sauce. I could have eaten a whole plate. Pizzas fresh and tasty and burrata the perfect accompaniment Harvey our server was friendly and welcoming just adding to a lovely experience as always. Highly recommend”

“For those who remember the previous incarnation....the food is as tasty. Emphasis is on rich flavours and not simply heat and spice. The service is relaxed and attentive, the vibe is more buzzy and the menu seems to have a little wider choice. Great to have a first rate restaurant back in our village.”

“Came here for the first time on Saturday for their bottomless brunch deal for £25, great price for starters. Had a choice of 3 dishes off the menu, we also ordered more alongside as we felt they might be a little small.... Well.. the portions were bigger then expected definitly enough for 1 between 2 poss 3 all cooked amazingly not one bad dish and OMG their summer spritz white sangri is the nicest drink iv had in a long time, try if you can. Staff were great and so atenttative too would highly recommend and can't wait to come back 10/10 from me”

Billy and his staff are very warm kind hearted folk as always they come out and say helllo the reception on arrival never disappoints the food is brilliant good sized portions that will full up the greediest of whats inside us all. Lovely melted cheesey garlic bread to start so Yummy 2 portions and a Lovely choice of food and deserts just add to its flavour and balance and cooked fresh what more could you ask for. “Absolutely phenomenal! We had the spring tasting menu for our first wedding anniversary and every course was incredible. How this place does not have a star yet amazes me but it can't be far away. “I met up with my girlfriend on my lunch break and we decided to go to Alushi’s. This place really is a hidden gem in Brighton. The smells coming from the coal grill and kebabs are incredible and immediately draw you in. We both went for the meal deal, which is excellent value: a wrap, chips and a drink for £12. We chose the homemade chilli sauce and garlic sauce, which were both delicious. The wraps were incredibly tasty. The meat was perfectly grilled and generously portioned. I went for the lamb while my girlfriend chose the chicken. The salad inside the wrap was very fresh, with ripe tomatoes and a lovely pickle that really stood out. On top of all this, the service was fantastic. The guy behind the counter was friendly and happy to make recommendations. When we were leaving, we told him how good the food was. He winked, wished us a great day, and clearly knows just how good his food is. Highly recommend this place.”

“We went here for our anniversary dinner, wonderful food and service! We had the duck and lamb, both very tender and juicy. For starters we had the duck roll and scallops, I normally don’t enjoy seafood which I always find “fishy” but I loved the scallop, complemented by the sauce/puree that goes with it. For dessert we had the mango cheesecake, not the most impressive but not bad and would overall recommend this place !”

“A very smart, modern establishment with good counter service and very nice food, I had smoked salmon with dill on a focaccia which was delicious along with a date and chocolate cake, also delicious. The place was dog friendly inside and quiet which was good for my old girl, outside seating also available. A lot of thought had been put into the lighting and mood of the restaurant though I didn't quite understand the art, there is obviously a meaning but it was lost on me, not the restaurants fault, definitely mine. A bit pricey but often cost comes from quality and quality was evident in all aspects of this quirky eatery.”
