“Excellent Thai food in Blagdon. Visiting from Sydney Australia, where we have an abundance of superb Thai food, and this was on par. Really tasty fresh vegetables with a fabulous range of meat. Great value for money and well worth a visit. Many thanks.”

“Great atmosphere, friendly bar staff and locals. Big beer garden, pool table. Live singer was good, played a range of indie classics and some of his own original music. Great to give the young lad experience. Good range of draft and bottled refreshments. Got local walking and shopping tips from staff and patrons. A lot of young adults but that didn’t bother us. No food available Saturday evening, best to check service in advance. Not a problem, less than 10 min walk to range of eateries in town. Take the top road down, lots of nice gardens, take the low road walking back as it’s flat. We found this place as able to park our camper overnight (we’re 6 meters, no reservation, could fit at least 1 more same size but depends how many cars there). We will be back.”

“Lovely little pub with a sunny front and tables and little beach hut type seating for cooler weather. The inside of the pub boasts an open fire. The food was good and arrived quickly too. Staff were very friendly, and my dog was also made to feel very welcome.”

“We had lunch on a Friday. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The Welsh rarebit burger was probably one of the best burgers i've had. 2 very tasty patties. The lasagne was very tasty as well.”

“Birthday meal. Clear communication process throughout from booking to the evening. All 14 people came away stating they would happily go back to The Bell. Food was excellent, very generous portions, and tasty. Value for money is second to none, was amazed at the reasonable prices. Sat near the bar and could all easily hear each other, so no worries about it being a loud atmosphere. Staff were excellent, right level of checking in, friendly and overall great service. I cannot recommend this pub enough, great food, excellent value for money, fabulous choices of beers, and spirits.”

“One of Newport’s Jem’s locates on the main high street of Newport the alternative styled pub/club has great live performances and lively club nights with an amazing atmosphere. Le Pub offers a great drink deals throughout the week with a friendly service if your out in Newport be sure to check this place out !!”

“I came to Zed for the first time to see a battle of the bands, supporting the band Blue Crow who I've seen before at the fleece, one of the main Bristol venues. Despite this place being really new and a fair bit smaller, I'd honestly say the sound was mixed way more professionally, volume levels were way better and it made listening to Blue Crow even more enjoyable! Acoustics were great and there's already a great alt scene present, the selection of bands were awesome and the staff were lovely! Tidy little venue!”

“Had a lovely dinner with amazing food and a very friendly staff. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. and we were able to get a table immediately. Pie was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is very cozy. Would definitely recommend.”

It’s the little things - name placard on door, beautifully presented gifts on the bed, warm welcomes from every single staff member, gorgeous grounds and perfect cocktails and a lovely breakfast made this stay absolutely incredible. Walk everywhere (ok … downhill - but then just Uber up!) I felt bathed in luxury the entire time I was there. Large, well appointed rooms. Luxurious bed and bedding! And, very serene. Go live your own Bridgerton moment! You deserve it.”

“I don’t normally leave reviews but wanted to recognise the excellence of the team at No.15 in hosting a special birthday dinner for my wife and 12 friends. The service was impeccable - attentive but discrete, and the food of excellent quality. The private dining room has a large single table and high ceilings and was perfect for dinner parties. Lucy was also great with the booking - thank you all.”

“We stayed at this delightful hotel for just a few days and will return again. Breakfast was great and so was dinner. It’s centrally located in the town so you can walk to many places. There is just one concern we had: all rooms are one to two flights up with no elevator.”

“Near Shirenewton but on the main road. Good access . Plenty of parking . Old fashioned pub . But the food is home cooked and tastes delicious . Managed a pudding that was lovely . Well worth a visit. Did not take advantage of the rooms there but the restaurant was clean and tidy , with good old fashioned welcome by the landlady .”

“We were warmly greeted when we entered this super country pub/hotel - it looked so inviting as we passed a couple of times - especially at night as every effort has been made to get in the Christmas spirit! Chad showed us to our table and took our drink orders - I had a delicious 'Butty Bach' and my wife, an Amstel. We ordered Fish and Chips and a Baked Camembert. Having had Fish and Chips at a local 2 Rosette restaurant two nights previously that was really disappointing, we were keen to love our fish and chips again. It was outstanding! Fully of flavour and perfectly cooked. Care was taken to present the baked camembert with a festiv touch and was equally outstanding. We left very happy. Thanks to Chad for looking after us - in fact, the whole team were very welcoming!”

“We had an excellent stay here in a camper van on our way back from Pembroke dock to London. The really friendly welcome and good food were great and the use of a shower and loo 24/7 are a splendid extra to have. It is so refreshing to find a pub that it still a pub and not a wannabe coffee shop. There were a couple of other campers parked up too and the atmosphere was family friendly and quiet. I'd recommend the Olway Inn for a visit with or without staying the night.”

“Excellent meal with great service. Came away very happy! Husband and I had 12oz sirloins and daughter had the 6oz kids sirloin. Absolutely delicious. We had mac and cheese, triple cooked chips, onion rings, creamed spinach and sweet potato fries as sides. All genuinely brilliant. Biscoff cheesecake for pudding was very tasty and not too heavy. Excellent portion sizes for price. Pleasant service. BBF on cask and a few keg options. Wish we lived nearer!”
