βAbsolutely brilliant. Classic birthday gift. Excellent instructors, great course, loads of fun. She didn't hit a tree, get stuck or loose a part of the vehicle and slept most of the way home....bonus!! Tired but very happy. Would definitely encourage others to have a go. Easy to find and well worth the money. She's already looking forward to having another go.β

βWe walked down to here for our meal the first night we stayed at Basecamp. The firepit was going with lots around it doing smores. There were tons of tables and the place as super clean and the staff really helpful and friendly. The pizza was really nice and my children loved them and my pulled pork fries were very flavourful and filling. The general atmosphere here is nice and they have live music also at times. βThis is an absolute gem of a pub. We stumbled across this place by chance. The welcome was the foundation of a fantastic experience. This place has a great atmosphere, not just students but all ages. The drink section is huge some 20x beers / IPAs and lagers and short to suit everyone. Food. Where do I start. This was without doubt some of the best food Iβve eaten. I had a mixed grill and everything was cooked to absolute perfection, every mouthful was tender , flavoursome and by far the best Iβve eaten in a long time. The service was fast and polite throughout the whole time. Honestly one of the most enjoys meals and time out Iβve had in a long time. Definitely coming back. Thanks guys.β
βWe first went to the restaurant here and loved the food and atmosphere so much that we came back to get married here! The grounds are amazing and the food is worth more than its 2 AA rosettes. The staff are impeccable and trained to the highest standard. The hotel and rooms are extremely luxurious - we felt like royalty. I'd live here if I could!β
βThe pub looked closed but was anything but and we (husband, dog, and me) were made extremely welcome and served a very decent Merlot and pint of lager followed by a delicious roast beer dinner. Good job I opted for the smaller portion!β
βI attended a free hands-on science exhibition with my 4 and 6 year old at the weekend, and it was brilliant. It kept us all entertained for a few hours on an Autumn afternoon. It was very well organised with 3 rooms full of science stations, each one offering an experiment, craft activity or demonstration, and all the volunteers were great, very knowledgable, enthusiastic and engaging with the children. What a great event- thank you!β

βOur first stay at Manor Lodge, but it won't be our last stay. Very convenient location to the shops, station, swimming pool and library. The bus stop nearby. We had breakfast in the town, but there is a kitchen where you could make your own breakfast and a shared fridge. Also a lounge-dinning area to eat, or just sit and relax. No noise. I couldnt hear the train or the traffic.β

βHome from home! We stayed at Percy Place for 6 weeks whilst working at the Theatre Royal over Christmas. Simona and her family couldn't have been more welcoming - showing us around and reassuring us they were there should we need them, but otherwise left us to our own devices. The house has everything you could possibly need. Perfect location to walk into town, and free parking!β
