The restaurant itself is spacious, with plenty of seating options, so it’s easy to find a comfortable spot whether you’re alone, with friends, or in a bigger group. The décor and layout give it that typical Wetherspoon charm – nothing overly fancy, but pleasant and functional. The ambience was nice and relaxed, and the lighting and music made it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal. The staff were casual but polite, and service was efficient. Food quality was as expected from Wetherspoon – affordable, straightforward, and consistent. It’s not gourmet dining, but it’s good value for money and comes out quickly. One thing I really appreciated was how clean the place was. Both the restaurant area and the washrooms were spotless, which is always a good sign. The overall environment felt well-maintained, making it an easy place to relax without any fuss. If you’re looking for a big, clean, and comfortable Wetherspoon in Bristol with decent service, plenty of space, and the usual affordable menu, The Berkeley is a solid choice. All the staff worked incredibly well together and nothing was too much trouble. “First visit so didn't know what to expect, turns out food was the best I've had for a long time. The service excellent. Docked a star for atmosphere as the waiting area had no heating on this occasion and it was one of the coldest nights of the year, having said that there was evidence of what looked like fresh building work going on.
