“I would highly recommend The coffee shop. I've visited many times for lunch during a dog walk. There is a good choice of food to suit most people's taste. My favourite food at the moment is the fish finger sandwich. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Popular with my dog who loves visiting for a doggy treat.”
“We had a wonderful stay! We originally booked a standard room but were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the best suite in the hotel — and the hospitality was truly exceptional from start to finish. There were lovely little touches waiting for us when we arrived, and when we returned from dinner, we found a thoughtful box of cheeses, the curtains drawn, and the bed beautifully prepared for the night. The hotel’s location is very central, which meant it could be a little busy and noisy at times, but the mattress was so comfortable that we still had one of the best nights of sleep we’ve ever had in a hotel! We also booked massage treatments and spent time enjoying the spa facilities — both were absolutely amazing. Every member of staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay special. It was such a memorable experience, and we’ll definitely return when visiting Bath again — or perhaps try one of their other properties elsewhere.”

“Charlee really is a magician with her hands. I booked a head, neck and back massage and was suffering with low back pain. Charlee worked her magic and within a day the pain subsided. The whole experience was very relaxing and Charlee is very welcoming and talented. I highly recommend visiting for some pampering or as a regular treat to relax and boost your health and wellbeing.”

“Fabulous stay in this lovely old farmhouse. Built in 1690 with a lot of the original features but offering up to date facilities with excellent wi-fi. Breakfast spot on and very comfortable bedroom. 5 star accommodation with superb hosts”
“Lisa is a lovely host, so friendly and so attentive making sure we had everything we needed - it really felt like she added a nice personal touch to everything about the place, and she's willing to go the extra mile to ensure you have a perfect stay. She was more than happy to arrange an early check-in for us which was a life saver for our plans. Immaculately clean, modern and cosy, the best facilities you could ask for (amazing shower, Smart TV, mini fridge, snacks & drinks, fan etc), and we both felt the bed was the comfiest we'd ever slept in! Good location also - never difficult to book an Uber/taxi and not far from the airport or city/train station. I can't think of any improvements I'd suggest whatsoever. Really can't fault this place, it's everything we needed and more! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone :)”
“Such a fab find! Stayed here the night before an early morning flight and it was perfect. Great host and communication. The room was lovely. We had a double bed for us and single bed for our 2 year old. Very comfy - we didn't want to get out of bed in the morning! Lots of lovely extra touches like chocolates, croissants and fruit. Mini fridge also provided with fresh milk, orange juice and water. Transfers to and from the airport were fast and efficient with no added stress! Nigel was so helpful. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be staying again! Thanks Nige :)”
“The hotel is very pretty set on a reasonably quiet road about a twenty minute walk from the centre of Bath. Big advantage is on site parking and public transport… there is an hourly bus from pretty much outside the door and more regularly a five minute walk away. The hotel is well appointed. The bedroom well decorated, clean with a very comfortable bed. The staff were lovely. A special mention for Francesca on reception and Kaska who popped up all over the hotel and couldn’t have been more helpful. As many reviews have mentioned the breakfast was lovely. One thing we did notice was that when booking it pays to watch the prices… we didn’t… if we’d booked a couple of days later the room would have been at a lower price. Having said that, we wanted to secure the room and we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return (with a close eye on the rates!).”
“What an amazing stay. It was perfect for our Christmas getaway. The cottage was spacious and had everything we needed. All linen and towels were provided (even for the pool) The use of the heated pool was a huge bonus with the children, 2 communal hours usage and a timetabled private hour each day.. The use of the large games room with a pool table, table tennis, foozeball (and lots more) was great on the cold weather. There is also an outdoor play area. Lots of local walks, the scenery was beautiful The location is perfect for trips throughout Somerset, including Bath, Cheddar and Glastonbury. Esther and Tim are great, very friendly and always on hand. We highly recommend a stay at Moorleaze.”
“Beautiful house, recently acquired by the national trust in 2002 so it is quite new with its own furniture and carpets. The ceilings are magnificent as the church itself. It is on the top 15 of the national trust houses and it is worth a visit. The shop and restaurant are really big and they make you feel transported to other times.”
“If you happen to be in Wells or Radstock, or have stayed in The Little Shire, then don’t miss this very nice and relaxing restaurant. The staff and owner are all friendly and the place is warm and homely.”
“Ideal place to stay overnight before flying. Small rooms and bathroom too but clean and comfy. Great service from Wayne, informative and prompt drop-off and collection. Car was safely stored with no issues.”
“Went to priors woods with a public transport where we got off at station road on the bus. It took us about 15 minutes to the starting point of the woods. Initially you can still hear the traffic but as you go in further you will be in the wonderland of blue bells! We went there when it was rainy so definitely needs a hiking shoes that are rain proof. The blue bells were absolutely beautiful!!! Highly recommend to see them :) Some of the paths are less labelled so having more signs could be helpful. There was a big tree that seemed to have felled recently on the road so we could not have done the whole path but other than this great walk :)! Highly recommend :)”
“We got married at Folly Farm in August 2024, having found them from a search along the lines of "eco organic outdoor wedding". Folly Farm delivered on that, along with wonderful staff and a fabulous venue. Matt and Claire and the team are really lovely people who just want their couples to have a fabulous day, and that came through in the way they took every request in their stride, always with a smile. We found that the venue worked really well, - with the lovely flow from the dining/disco area, to the bar, and out to the courtyard with the amazing views meaning that guests could be in the areas they wanted to, and could move between them easily. The food is fantastic, plentiful and great value. No one went hungry, and we had feedback that it was the "best wedding food ever". We opted for the sharing platters, - homemade bread, delicious lamb and local veggies (some grown on the farm itself). It's hearty, souful and friendly. Both the food and drink are really good value too. There are about 20 rooms on site, which was great as many of our guests could stay on site (and some camped). They might be considered functional rather than luxurious by some, some of the guest bathrooms are slighly tired in places, and some of the rooms really need clothers rails (we brought our own in), but they were all clean and comfortable. We we a little worried that if it was really wet and we couldn't use the wonderful outside space, it might have been a bit cramped for the 95 or so guests we had (including about 20 kids, who loved using the open space) but we were blessed with a warm sunny day, so didn't find that out. We'd definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a chilled, eco concious, relaxed venue, with fantastic service and food.”
“We stayed in one of the new rooms and we were really surprised how nice it was. The room had been styled really well with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable as well. Usually accommodation close to the airport is average and super expensive. We will definitely use again.”
“Lovely place to take the kids, small but can fill half a day or so. Animal encounters was nice, and play area is quite good. There’s a cafe for grabbing a coffee etc. car park is reasonable sized”
“Really enjoyed my stay. The check-in and bar staff were amazing — friendly, welcoming, and couldn’t do enough to help. The room was spotless, and the bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay again!”
“Been coming here for years. Iram is who I normally get my services done from. She is always friendly and welcoming. The service itself is 10 out of 10. I get exactly what I ask for, whether it be my eyebrows or my colouring my hair.”
“We had such an amazing stay here. The bed and room were very comfortable, the breakfast was great and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend a stay here!”
“Well priced with an excellent location, perfect for our requirements, free parking in Lidl when you register with reception”
“Beautiful venue inside and out. Lovely views. Garden for the kids. Really good food. Not cheap but representative of the quality of the food. Kids meals very good value for the quality at £9. Big main course that they couldn't finish plus dessert. My older son; big appetite and traditional palate demolished his and his sister's leftovers. He had fish and chips. Pizzas were fresh & huge with wonderful topping. Extra side of fries for the kids & my pizza were really crispy & very good. Staff were really friendly. Food was quick. Place should be busy every night! Fabulous!”
“Blown away by the knowledge, empowerment, time and space shared by this idyllic retreat. This programme is packed, and seriously backed up by evidence and the infectious enthusiasm of some extraordinary professionals. There is something new to try for everyone. I don’t hesitate to give Combe Grove 5* and am supporting its even bigger ambitions in the future. A truly unique and inspiring experience - thank you!”
“We have stayed several times at Noades house. Charmingly decorated rooms and beautiful gardens! Friendly host. Plenty of country walks nearby .”
