“Well I've never been to papa John's before because I've always been a fan of Domino's. but after today's experience I'm never going Domino's again. PAPA JOHNS pizzas are so much better from taste to the texture and appearance. I went for THE WORKS and it was delicious. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. there is a lunchtime offer on at the moment so definitely worth checking out.”

“Visited for the first time as was recommended by family and it was amazing The starters were great value with plenty of choice. Silly me forgot to take a picture of them before stuffing as smelt and looked so good. Main courses came out and were so big value for money great flavours in the lasagne the seafood lingie what can I say the flavours were out of this world very big prawns. “Lovely and fast customer service, banging pizzas, fresh dough made in-house, flavoursome, great value for money, and they’re always happy to oblige requests. I often need a break from stodgy sourdough pizzas (which are more crust than anything else) and these guys are my go-to every time. P.S. Try mixing up their garlic butter and tomato pizza sauce for an indulgent treat. Really happy to support local businesses like these as they’re far superior to your run of the mill chains.”

“100% recommended! Visited there for a lunch of a Sunday with 8 friends. The place was very well kept and the ambiance was quite nice. There were a lot of food and beverage options. Staff was very kind and attentive and the food arrived within around 15 minutes after ordering. All the dishes we tried were very good and had distinctive Flavours. Portion sizes were very filling too! Clean toilets, ample space, choice of seating etc. Would not hesitate to go there again”

“Very nice place for breakfast. Plenty of seats, interesting interior design, feels nice and warm. Reasonable price for a big portion. We really enjoyed the food and coffee. “My favourite pizza shop at Bristol! Very cute and cozy place to eat. This was my second time having the same pizza (no7). I had a takeaway last time at the Downs and this time I had it hot which was fresh and comforting. Very nice sitting by the window and staff was nice. I won’t be surprised if I ordered this again!”

“Lovely place, the seating arrangement was quite unique which I liked, you are sat next to your partner instead of opposite them. 4 different sections in there, wasn't massive but I feel they probably do more money on takeaways than in house due to being on the high street. We had the window seats, was nice people watching and you can planes setting off from Bristol Airport. I had pizza number 1 (basically a margarita) and added chorizo and mushroom Staff were friendly, would recommend”

“I recently visited Italb and it was great! The atmosphere was cozy. I tried the pasta and it was delicious. The pizza had a nice crispy crust and the toppings were tasty. For dessert, I had tiramisu, which was the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, a lovely place to enjoy some authentic Italian food! “I have been to this restaurant now on two occasions. I have travelled from Cardiff on both occasions and I can tell you that it is worth every mile of the journey. The food is absolutely delicious, divine and out of this world. The tastes and attention to detail with every dish are very impressive. The warmth, decor and ambience are first class. I made a suggestion to Juliana (multi-talented waitress who also takes great pics) that some bread would go well with the seafood platter and this was implemented on the second visit. The chef, Marcia, grew up in Brazil and her take on seafood dishes and Thai dishes is very unique. She has magic in her hands. I would highly recommend the seafood platter and Tom Yum dishes. Ask for spicy versions and enjoy. I would come here every week if I lived closer. Keep up the good work guys.”

“This was our second Christmas stay. 3 years ago Christmas Day was pretty chaotic but overall we enjoyed our stay so much that we were quite happy to go back. The room, the service, the staff, the restaurant was excellent. Christmas Day service from Buddy The Elf (Cosmin), Alessandro (Alex) and *all* the staff in the restaurant was superb. I rarely write reviews and am accustomed to moaning about lack of service these days so feel duty bound to say a really big thank you given that we were so well looked after by everyone at The Hotel du Vin Bristol City.
