“I have been attending adult tap classes and they are always great fun! Lots of opportunities to progress in skills and exams too. My daughter also has ballet and jazz lessons which she thoroughly enjoys. The dance teacher is very kind and approachable but also very professional, always wanting to encourage the best from her pupils and lots of opportunities are provided. “Amanda is a wonderfully patient and accommodating teacher. She strikes just the right balance between structuring classes so children develop and keeping things relaxed and fun. Mandy also puts a huge amount of effort into organising everything to make life easy for parents, from uniform to keeping class times the same as children progress so we’re not constantly juggling different after school activities. Our daughter is so much happier with Mandy than at her previous ballet school.”

“This is an exceptional school with enthusiastic and devoted teachers. Both of my children have been there from nursery to year 6. During Covid the quality of online teaching has been brilliant and the team have really kept my daughter focused (not easy).The sports activities are awesome - Heywood punches well above its weight with pupils given the opportunity to compete at a regional and national level as well as against other schools. The teachers put so much effort into preparation and you can see the fun they have when you watch the end of term videos. I would strongly recommend this school. My children have successfully got into their 1st choices secondary school and are well set for success there too.”
