“Wow Wow Wow. Fantastic! We were in the Bath for the weekend and thought we'd try Pintxo out as we'd walked past before on previous visits and we hadn't booked any food for the weekend - not knowing what to expect from the Christmas markets. On arrival we spent around 15 mins sat at the bar waiting for a table (soaking in the top notch atmosphere) after hanging our coats up, ordered our drinks and were promptly seated once a table became available. The food was simply fantastic, it was soooo tasty! The Deep Fried Aubergines were out of this world, the portions were great and the staff were very friendly and very attentive to clear room when we had finished plates. We will certainly be back on our next visit to Bath, one of the best Tapas we've had outside of Spain (and even including!).”
“We had such a wonderful experience at Bandook Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — full of rich flavors and cooked to perfection. Every dish tasted so fresh and authentic, and it truly felt like a treat for the taste buds. What made the experience even better was the staff. They were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and genuinely generous with their service. From the moment we walked in, I felt well taken care of. If you’re looking for amazing food paired with warm hospitality, I’d definitely recommend Bandook. It’s a place worth visiting again and again!”
“Lovely atmosphere with amazing pizza and staff!!”
“Ordered online - the wine arrived within 2 days and in great condition. Great selection and good prices with their offer for 12+ bottles. I didn’t know they existed in Bath but will now go to see their selection in person if I only need to buy a bottle or two.”
“We had a fantastic evening - Alex was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We had a brilliant time trying different wines and learning about new regions and grapes that we had never heard of before. The restaurant had a really great atmosphere - tables of people having a great night with food, wine and friends; what more could you want!”
Situated in the picturesque Abbey Green area of Bath, The Cork and Truckle is a charming specialty store focusing on fine wines and artisan cheeses. The shop offers a welcoming destination for culinary enthusiasts and visitors eager to sample regional English produce. Interactive tasting sessions pairing select English wines with complementary artisanal cheeses are hosted in a cozy historic cellar setting. Retail offerings include a rich variety of naturally smoked and traditional cheeses alongside artisanal dried sausages and charcuterie accompaniments.
“Loved the experience. The menu is carefully crafted and very interesting. I particularly appreciated the breadth of gluten free and GFOA options. Staff is kind and accommodating. A must-visit when in Bath :)”
“Would definitely recommend this place for meals if you are visiting Bath. They serve very nicely cooked meals and have a nicely decorated environment for you to enjoy your meal. Must try their signature 3x handplyed scallop, with the green sauce and lemon, fresh and nicely cooked. They offer lunch set which we can have refillable yorkshire tea with a main course. Their cod fillet is fresh and juicy, with the green paste and sauce together, just perfect. Salmon fishcake is another recommended dish if you like salmon. Different texture but still nicely cooked. Overall portion is big together with the potato. It’s a gem in Bath. We were seated on the open terrace, which can directly feel the chill in the air and direct sunlight. Mint chocolates come with the bill box is just nice as well. The waiter and waitress were very responsive and friendly from seating until leaving. Pet friendly restaurant”
“It's our go to restaurant for steak even though we're not local to it it's worth the trip. Always melt in the mouth steak. Puddings are good too, have had the Creme brûlée and the rice pudding. Big portions and good flavours.”
“Incredible food & service! Will definitely be back. The fresh cheese, leeks & walnut starter was the highlight for me. Their red wine made in house was delicious. Will be returning for sure.”
“Afternoon tea was delicious and the gluten free options were perfect. Lively music gave a different feel and the gardens looked well kept and would look stunning at the right time of year.”
“Had an amazing lunch here today. After smelling delicious food half way down the road I decided to stop in and give it a try. The food was amazing and worth every penny. The waiters display passion and dedication which I really appreciated. Sitting near the bar and watching the bartender carefully make and serve drinks was a delight. I highly suggest attending this warm and welcoming restaurant!”
“We loved this place, food was great, cocktails were perfect, and staff were super friendly and attentive, especially our server Bella. Restaurant had a really good atmosphere and great decor. Highly recommend and we will be back!”
“Very nice meat and cheeseboard and a good selection of wines. The rest of the menu looked very appealing also but great if you just want a quick bite to eat.”
“We took my parents to the Elder for a very belated Christmas present and it was a fantastic evening in so many ways: some of the best food we’ve ever had combined with very attentive but relaxed service with a smile. We thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish and felt very well looked after. Every course felt like a treat. We look forward to returning sometime soon.”
“Visited for our wedding anniversary, absolutely fantastic food and service. We had the tasting menu, every course was delicious and we ended up taking a full takeaways worth home as well so definitely worth the price! The staff were brilliant, they even went as far as to tailor the tasting for my pregnant wife and topped the night off with complimentary mocktails. My only issue is that we're not local enough to make it a regular visit. If you're local or visiting Bath, definitely get in here.”
“Michelin star restaurant. Innovative, flavorful. 7 course tasting menu was made gluten free. Each course was beautifully plated, with complex combination of flavors that was impressive and delicious. Highly recommend. For smaller appetites, I recommend choosing 3 or 5 course options.”
“Fantastic meal had the roast beef, host Paul lovely bloke very attentive. We all have to say one thing as no one is perfect. Thicken the gravy but still deserve top rating .”
“The Royal Crescent was a great stay. Lovely grounds, amazing service and just relaxing. So quiet it was refreshing.”
“We stayed at The Royal and ate here. Pleasant food and good service.”
“Picked up a too good to go order. Staff were very pleasant and nice. Asked if I had any allergies. Got a nice selection as well. Bruschetta, a cheesy garlic bread and this decadent slice of honeycomb caramel cream cheesecake! Excellent! Will be by again!!”
“Fantastic experience in the lounge. The meal was delicious, and the drinks selection was genuinely impressive. Dawid and the team made me feel looked after from start to finish, and the atmosphere was exactly what you want when you are unwinding. Highly recommend for great service and quality drinks.”
