“Burlesque have been in Newport for years and it's a testament to how good they are that they have been around for so long. The staff are all friendly and very professional and their customer service is amazing. They use quality products and have fantastic hair stylists and while they make recommendations for products to use they're not pushy at all which is always appreciated. I also appreciate the fact that they will tell you no when it comes to your hair. They will tell you when something is bad for your hair and give you a way to get what you want over time if it's a drastic change rather than ruining your hair just to please you in the short term. They are award winning and it's clear that they take pride in training their staff to a high level and it shows in your hair when you leave. In my humble opinion it's the best salon in Wales. Oh - and they're punctual with appointments which is a huge plus. They also have wifi so you're not stuck reading magazines if you don't want to!”

“Due to the power of TikTok, I travelled from Stoke on Trent for a hair appointment with Glam Weave and it was 100% worth the journey. The staff are warm and welcoming, studio is bright and clean, seating is comfy and the range of hair colours is excellent. The lady that did my hair was quick and precise, she did an amazing job on my hair to the point that I've been stopped several times and asked where I got it done. Everyone in there was welcoming and the owner is a sweetheart! Tip- research parking before you arrive as most of it is 1 hour stay or residential permit only. Disabled parking is available but scattered about!”

“I’m from London, and I am in Cardiff for few days, I needed a barber and I asked a random person in the street and they sent me here… Isaac was the guy the did my hair and I can’t complain, he went out of his way to take his time and make sure my haircut was on point, it felt like it wasn’t for the money.. he has 4 people waiting but he didn’t rush to cut everyone’s hair.. he paid attention to every single detail.. I understand why I was recommended to this please, they are also have a van to offer haircut on demand and they will start providing the service from December, location wise, it’s not far from the city centre as I walked and it took me about 12 minutes, the shop it’s going through renovations in the back but the front it’s very spacious and they even have a projector that I assume that’s used to watch music videos or football matches on match day. Fantastic service, Isaac will be my go to anytime I’m in Cardiff! Thank you”
