“My experience at Cardiff Cosmetic Clinic was pleasurable. I went for a consultation to get a mole removed and Dr Raj was very quick to decipher that it was benign, and therefore would be an relatively easy procedure. He explained the step-by-step procedure well, and showed me visual aids of how the healing process worked and offered to perform the procedure then and there (without the need for a follow-up appointment). Once again, the step-by-step was explained well to me and the procedure was over within 10 minutes. I will update this review as the healing progresses, but as of right now, I am very happy with my experience.”

“I went to see Emma after suffering for over a year with a hip bursitis. Both my daughters had seen Emma and gave glowing reviews, so after trying physio, steroid injection and hardly being able to walk, I thought I would give acupuncture a go. Emma is very well qualified and has trained for many years. She practices traditional acupuncture not dry needling which is used by many physios and chiropractors. It took several visits but I was finally able to walk upstairs and go on long walks without pain. On one visit I complained of infected sinuses, which had been giving me bad headaches for several weeks. Emma treated me re the sinuses and I couldn’t believe the next day, that my sinuses were completely cleared and no headaches. Emma is a lovely lady and a true proffesional.”

“I visited the clinic for the first time to have some moles and lesions removed and saw Dr Rachel Abbott and her assistant. Both were absolutely fantastic, professional and caring. I had been waiting on the NHS to have a possible skin cancer reviewed and Dr Abbott gave me her assessment there and then clearly and for no extra charge , putting my mind at ease. There was no hard sell , pushing me for any procedures just clear explanations and clinically she was excellent in removing my moles . Well done all - you're setting a proud example for your profession in a private clinic.”

“Huge recommendation for not just Sands but especially for Megan. As a bus/coach driver I was really starting to struggle with both my movement and stiffness in my lower back. I now have an appointment with Megan every 4-6 weeks and she is a legend. Under the instructions of “feel free to beat the crap out of my back” she gets to work. Both by manipulation, adjusting and using acupuncture she completely resets my back. I have commented that she cracks me like bubble wrap. Meg is friendly, professional and completely competent and has my full trust in the treatments she suggests. She is a credit to the business and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend!”

“Omg I’ve just had the most fantastic experience here, looked after by Tracy and Kathy. I needed to be seen by a dentist prior to open heart surgery later this week. I am a 68 male who is petrified of dentists. I need a tooth out and you can imagine my anxiety levels were through the roof, the experience took two hours that’s how gentle they were, we go on about the NHS but I can tell you, it’s not the front line staff it’s the organisation that is broken. “Gethin has been brilliant. I was in agony with hip pain (GTPS) and within a few weeks my hips were better than ever. I recently also switched from an NHS physio to Gethin for a MCL injury and in just 2 weeks feel like Im making better progress already. The app used by the medical makes it easy to remember what exercises to do and how to do them correctly. The admin side of The Medical is also very efficient. Appointments are easy to book and you receive text reminders. With the NHS I could never get through on the phone and the text reminders would sometimes fail. I highly recommend The Medical.”

I was booked in with Naomi for maintenance, and fair play to Cherie she managed to move my appointment time and even got me booked in for two more composite veneers. I knew there would be a bit of a wait (they’re so popular!), but if you want the best, you’ve got to be prepared for that. All the staff are so helpful and genuinely lovely people. When dropping her off in the morning, she explained everything I needed to know. “I’ve visited Beauty Advance a few times and had a full skin scan, ClearLift Laser Facial and Dermoregen Facial. The team are so lovely and it was so interesting to see the different layers of my skin and find out my skin’s age! ClearLift is one of my favourite facials as I typically have hormonal breakouts - I had glowing, clear skin for weeks afterwards - and the Dermoregen is a great clear out with a microderm for when my skin feels congested. Highly recommend!”

“I was attending for a two yearly check up, which they contacted me about. Found it very easy to use their online booking system to book a slot that suited me. I arrived early for my appointment and was seen early. I found everyone to be friendly and helpful. Each test was explained by the optometrist and they answered my questions. “After a really bad experience at the other big opticians around the corner, I visited Vision Express Cardiff. Nicole at Vision Express was so helpful and understanding. She didn’t try to oversell to me and explained everything clearly. There was a really good selection of prescription sunglasses at the Cardiff store so I got what I needed in less than half an hour. Shortly afterwards I received a text to say my glasses were ready to pick up and again Nicole helped me with resizing them to fit. Given some pictures and the scan report after the scan, also able to pay £1.99 for access to the online pictures and videos which were well worth the money, 4d and normal scan videos and pictures. “I have booked twice now and both times have been so relaxing, my first treatment was the Luxury facial which cleared and refreshed my congested sensitive acne-prone skin and my second was micro needling that was recommended for post-acne scarring. My skin has reacted well to both and Claudia was extremely helpful in giving skincare tips for my skin type along with being honest about what treatments my skin will need and when without trying to over-sell, it's clear that the clients skin is #1 priority. After 2 treatments and minimizing my skincare to a more simple & natural regime(based on tips from Claudia) I'm already seeing some promising improvements! - The atmosphere is extremely calming and inviting, Claudia also has a really calming quality which is great for anyone with anxiety. - Very hygienic and clean environment and products. - Great prices! “I saw Mr. Stew today at the Nuffield clinic about an ENT problem, the clinic was clean, bright and the staff were very friendly. Mr. Stew, talked to me through my diagnosis and presented himself as professional, caring, clinically knowledgeable and pragmatic in his treatment. He discussed next steps with me and what my options were going forward. I suffer with anxiety however he knew exactly how to handle it. A truly exemplary clinician. I would 100% recommend accessing this service.”
