“Great fast food chain. First time at a Taco Bell, food was much better than expected. Spent about £10 per person, initially thought food was overpriced but the amount you get for the amount you pay is quite reasonable. Atmosphere in the store is pretty good too, plenty of parking also. Not much wait for food considering the size of our order too. Would definitely recommend”

“Nice hotel. Friendly staff, clean room with a decent shower. Off road parking a bonus. Quiet for a good night's sleep. Near to the shopping centre so plenty of places to eat nearby.”

“My food was warmed just right, my drink is perfect, I've just given 4/5 for atmosphere as its pretty quiet in here, yet there's very little clean tables to sit at. Lots of crockery and rubbish left everywhere. I do feel though that there could be more mention of everyone working together (customers and staff) to clear their tables before they leave. Maybe a nice looking tall wheeled trolley for dirty mugs and an arty wall sticker or picture in a frame to highlight where the recycling waste station is. Just an idea.”

“Popped in here as my friend only live down the road and I was staying in Newport for the weekend. My friend ordered an all day breakfast, she said her was lovely not greasy really nice and her red label tea was lovely. I had scone with cream and apricot and earl grey tea which was stunning and only £2.75 filed by tuna jacket potato which was delicious proper oven cooked jacket. I was hesitant coming here after reading some reviews but the food was lovely only £7.25 for mine in total and considering it’s only a supermarket cafe I was very impressed. The staff were all friendly, helpful and courteous and even got me extra salad dressing. I would definitely return and recommend”

“Having had several good take aways from here in past months, we ordered another one this evening But unfortunately it was the worst Chinese meal we have EVER had! We had to throw most of it in the bin having cost us £30 ! Never again. Maybe chef changed? We T”

“Barry was a great host, accepted us last minute when our plans changed and we didn't have anywhere to stay. Rooms were OK for a guest house, didn't need anything more. A nice guest lounge with comfortable sofas and books, great breakfast ordering system that we unfortunately couldn't try. If I'm ever back in Newport, I'll be staying here again.”

“Great hotel, recently and still doing some modernization. Bang up-to-date modern wall panels and decorations. Bed really comfortable. Great breakfast cooked to order. Location is typical of a city nowadays BUT is just outside the centre within easy walk of Rodney parade football and rugby stadium. Not far from the station. I will be going back. Oh free parking.”

“Every time I visit, the staff are genuinely friendly, polite, and always make the experience feel easy and welcoming. even during busy hours, and they still manage to stay positive and helpful and give a fast service and keep the restaurant clean !! The food quality is amazing and it always look fresh and tastes delicious !”

“Absolutely the best teriyaki chicken and noodles I've ever had! Haven't even finished eating as I just had to write a review, lots of chicken and mushrooms and the box is stuffed full, very hot even over an hour after I left the shop with my order, yummy! Sorry I didn't think to take a picture until I'd eaten half because I wasn't expecting the best meal ever!”

“Called in on a whim, after visiting at the Royal Gwent Hospital. Immediately impressed by the choice and chatty informative service from the young lady at the counter. Chose a selection of 'Noodle Pots' to take home and can easily say this is one of the best takeaway I've had in ages. Great presentation in the 'boxes' nice fresh veg and really clean distinctive flavours really hit the spot. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu and raving about this experience for a while.”

“Me and my partner have stayed at this Hotel quite a lot recently and every time we have stayed here we have had a really good experience. The receptionist Fara always makes us feel welcomed and we always have a friendly chat, she is very polite and generous and makes our stay even better”

“The staff were exceptional. Very friendly and determined that your stay be a pleasant one. Couldn't be more helpful. The rooms were clean, tidy and fresh and we were able to extend our stay and change to a family room instead of 2 rooms with no hassle. When we first arrived we were early but as our rooms were ready they let us book in early.”

“Very good service, tasty pizza. I had to buy dairy free pizza due to allergy and was fed up with the vegan only versions, called around 3 nearby domino's, for nothing, then Papa John's saved the day. Definitely will be back and happily recommend too. Thanks guys”
