“We went here with our oldest daughter for lunch. Absolutely fantastic. Wide choice of dishes. Excellent service from helpful and friendly staff. I wish we had a Drago Lounge where we live in the far north of Scotland.”

“The menu is varied with good sized portions especially for Sunday Lunch. A 10% service charge is automatically added to your bill so be aware of this. If you want a cheap meal then this maybe not the place to go, but check their online menu. Tables are well spaced out with plenty of room between them and the chairs we had were very comfortable.”

“Spice, Spice Baby! Wow! Amazing food with great service. I love my spices and Vanilla Spice got it just right. And the beer was great too. Roar which is a local craft lager was great. Definitely brightened up a dismal wet night in Newport.”

“Hanna the owner is the most loveliest person I've met. Was super patient and kind when we were unsure of what to get. Gave her recommendation. Gave my cousin a free cake for her birthday and just did more than I expected. And the staff she has are phenomenal so kind. If you ever go tell them the guy that had the hazelnut tea idea told you to go.”

“Cannot fault doughlicious, superb service, all the staff are fantastic, just eat and their driver screwed up my order by delivering me another person's/restaurant meal and wouldn't help fix it. The lovely ladies at doughlicious dealt with just eat for me, kept me updated and then ended up delivering it themselves at their own expense when just eat wouldn't help any further. Their own delivery driver was fantastic and very polite. they literally couldn't go out of their way far enough and everyone was accommodating. They could have just left me to dispute it through just eat as it wasn't their problem. food was lush too 100/10”

“My husband and I got chicken tikka wraps and meat samosas from here all the food was bursting with flavour, the chicken tikka wraps where cooked fresh in front of us and the staff where lovely and polite. We will definitely be ordering from here again and we highly recommend them”

“The Cross Inn is a hidden gem in Cardiff! Stopped by recently and was really impressed. The pub has a great traditional feel with a modern touch – cosy, clean, and full of character. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere from the get-go. The drinks selection is solid too, with well-kept beers and a good variety behind the bar. Plenty of seating inside and out, and a lovely spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a quiet pint. Definitely one of the better pubs around – will be back soon!”

“Stopped in for a drink, I had the strawberry milkshake which was lovely! The staff were really friendly and service was quick. The milkshake itself was a little on the expensive side but was absolutely gorgeous so worth the extra money if you’re looking for a good milkshake!”

“Best Chinese in Newport. Been going here since they first opened, I love there Chinese food but the English version of chicken peas gravy and chips is outstanding, pity they stopped doing the sirloin staek because that dish was divine ..loves the Wai Wai”

“Our table was booked for 7.30pm. We early and allowed to sit at our table. We also to order early too. Food was served within 15 minutes. Well presented and very tasty. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Lovely night night for my 60th birthday with my husband. Thank you”

“Beautiful beautiful place, worth a getaway and recoup with nearby places to visit including pubs restaurants supermarkets etc you can drive to and from and a lovely walk along the sea wall. The views are amazing, a great place to relax in the sun and a nice firepit to end the night while star gazing! The hosts were amazing, so friendly and helpful, thank you !
