βWe received excellent care and treatment for our senior dog, Ollie. We were able to book same day appointments and he received the best care from Dr Lorenzo. Highly recommendβ
βTook our dog for annual boosters, they gave her a check and she was fine. I recommend the monthly plan for checkups and boostersβ
βAlways a friendly person on reception, and a calm environment. Helpful and informative and explains things to me in language I can understand (no medical jargon). My cat Loki is scared to be there, as I'm sure all pets are at the vets, but the vets are always gentle and allow him to explore the room a little. Don't have pics of the vets, but you can have pics of my boy instead, lol.β
βA very emotional day losing lovely rocky but such a caring vet and staff so kind thank you for all your kind words and for helping dear rocky .β
βJust switched vets and already I couldnβt be happier. From the first phone call to the visit the staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful. We feel very lucky to have joined this team of lovely people.β
βTook our Westie pup for registration check up. As first time owners in our family (though parents have dogs) we were not sure what to expect. The team were very welcoming and friendly. Our vet Rachel was super knowledgable and thorough, and gave us great advice. Iβm sure weβll have many more good things to say over the coming years.β
βA very welcoming and engaging Veterinary practice. Staff always helpful and accomodating where and when they can. They go over and above alwaysβ
βLovely staff, treated me and my two kittens fantastic. The vet himself was very informative, offering loads of helpful info whilst treating my two with absolute care. I would highly recommend.β
βI can't thank the staff here enough. We called in desperate need of an urgent appointment for our 8 month old french bulldog Martha-May. The reception staff were extremely helpful and very kindly booked us in straight away. From start to finish, the veterinary team was extremely attentive to Martha-May and could not do enough for her and us. All staff provided a professional and friendly service. We can not recommend the PDSA enough, and I would kindly ask for people to donate any old blankets or towels you may have as they are always in need of these items. Once again, thank you to all the staff of the PDSA cardiff.β
βThis was our 1st time of going here with our new puppy. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by really lovely friendly staff, who went out of their way for us, to make us & our puppy feel welcome & at ease. The vet was really nice. She explained everything to us & answered any questions we had. She was so good with our puppy. She put us all at ease practically straight away. We're even now going to be taking our older dog here as well. We would definitely recommend them to anyone & everyone, for all your pet needs. You won't be disappointed. We cannot praise them enough.β
βExcellent Vets, I have been with them for 10 years and have never been disappointed. The nurses and receptionists are always polite, friendly, and helpful, typical bubbly valley girls ( I'm English, for my sins, lol ). I always get a quick appointment. Would highly recommend.β
βWe had what turned out to be a bit of an emergency the other day. The vets handled it perfectly and probably saved our dog's life. Always good service here. Thank you β€οΈβ
βWe got an emergency appointment on a Saturday after not long moving to the area when other local vets had turned us away. The vet was really good with our dog and the staff were very friendly and helpful.β

βI absolutely love sue the receptionist she will do her up most best to help me and my pooch.β
βIβve been using St David vets for over 20 years and my pets have always received excellent care from the vets and nurses. The admin staff are excellent too!β
βCharlotte is an outstanding vet: knowledgeable, sensible, a fantastic diagnostician, and has been brilliant with all our rescue dogs. The nurses are fantastic too. We've been using this practice for nearly twenty years and trust them 100% - would never consider going anywhere else.β

βMy dog broke his leg a couple of months ago & the whole team from the very start have been amazing. A big thank you to the Nurses, Vets & Receptionists for their care. Wouldn't go anywhere else!β
βBrought our 2 new puppies here for their second vaccinations. All staff we encountered were so lovely, the vet was great with them, and the appointment went without a hitch. Not only is it close to where we live, so that is great, they do a healthcare plan too. 10/10 recommend to everyone. :-)β
βLovely vets, made my little girl feel so comfortable she gets excited to go now! Update: I got my dog spayed here, and I cannot thank the lovely lady who discharged her enough. When dropping her off in the morning, she explained everything I needed to know. When I picked her up she went through everything, answered all the questions I had, and didnβt make me feel silly for being emotional. My little dog is my whole world, and after some previous dogs of mine had bad experiences with the vets they went to I was very nervous about this process. The staff here are wonderful, and I wouldnβt dream of taking her anywhere else. Thank you all for looking after my little Gwenllian β₯οΈβ

βUnfortunately we had our border collie called buster put to sleep this morning and everyone at the vets including emma was amazing and can't thank you enough for everything you done for us and emma should be proud of herself and if any vets need a course on how to deal with things like this they or to watch emma in action she was more professional than professional can be that's all I am going to say is emma what a vet u are what a person u are and last word you and the team are perfectβ
βI would highly recommend Summercourt Vets in Caerphilly. They are always really helpful and give lots of practical advice regarding my Sprocker and her puppies. A local practice with parking .Very reasonable prices .β
βThis veterinary practice is brilliant! I have been 100% happy and trust them implicitly to care for my dogs. Today was no exception. I am currently fostering a mixed breed dog, Spotty, from Romanian (Amicili dog rescued). She is naturally a very nervous and anxious little girl. I have had her since 19/11/23 and while she has made a lot of progress, she remains naturally very fearful of unfamiliar people, barking and backing away from them. Spotty needed to be weighed for her flea and worming treatment, and a check over by the vet. I also took my spaniel Nia as company. Spotty didn't hesitate, as I had anticipated, going into the practice and I attribute this to the calm atmosphere of the surgery made by all the staff. I cannot thank the vet Mirac and veterinary nurse Tracey enough for their quiet, caring patience and the time they took to gain Spottys confidence. They were amazing, not just with Spotty but also Nia (whose mission was to snaffle any stray treats!). Mirac was able to examine Spotty. I was overwhelmed as I had anticipated Spottys resistance and the whole experience being stressful for her. I don't know how long Spotty will be with me before she finds her forever home, but if she needs to visit the veterinary practice again, I hope she will remember today's positive experience. Thank you all so very much.β
βWe brought our rabbits in for neutering this week and I have to commend the practice and our vet Ross and vet nurse Steph for the thorough and kind care provided to our boys. No question felt too much and we felt so supported through not the easiest of times. Thank you all for your warmth, kind energy and honesty for our boys - we are pleased to report they are both doing really well.β
β10/10!! Just want to say a massive thank you, from the bottom of our hearts to all the staff that was working on Tuesday 4th February! My cat was hit by a car ( we think) and I turned up such a mess, Hannah took my cat straight away and checked her over, the receptionists were absaloutly golden, so compassionate. They had answers and solutions straight away! They kept me updated constantly, offered and explained everything to me and now My little warrior is home on the mend! I can't recommend or thank them enough!β
βAlways a calm and caring environment. Jess is extremely efficient and knowledgeable. She takes time to explain treatment options and costs involved clearly. Although busy the whole team takes time to ensure both pet and owner looked after with dignity and respect.β
βI brought my dog to Vets4Pets Newport Road after a rough experience at another vet in Cardiff. There are a few things I appreciate about this hospital: - The vets are skilled with good bedside manner, and I was impressed that they offer sonography, radiology, and orthopaedics. They also take the time to talk through your pets care with you and make sure that you understand everything. - They offer emergency services. Although my dog's case was pushed back a day, they helped another pup with an urgent surgery. I am from the States, and these cases nearly always get bumped to emergency clinics and speciality hospitals. - They respect my knowledge as a licensed vet nurse in the States. Other vets dismissed any concerns or knowledge I had of vet med. I've been in the field for 16 years, and I am a skilled nurse, so I appreciate that being recognized. - Their prices are reasonable. - Most of the staff handled it well when I was upset when my old dog's case was deferred to the following week (there may be some lingering irritation with me from some staff, but that is okay). The only issue I had was with an estimate being a little off, but that happens in vet med. They were able to fix some things to honor the price they quoted me.β
