“Went here yesterday 18th dec for some hot drinks before panto at the priory theatre. 5 adults 2 teens and a 6 year old. The man serving us (didn’t catch his name) couldn’t be more accommodating, very friendly and helpful and enthusiastic he took our order, made suggestions on drinks including which size would be best for the little one and then found us a lovely table, the waitress (also didn’t catch her name) young girl was lovely, the vibe felt very welcoming and the hot drinks were really cheap and the hot chocolates had cream and marshmallows which were offered I didn’t have to ask like in most places. Will deffo be back hopefully for food next time”

“A wonderful pub in the shadow of Kenilworth Castle that serves huge plates of excellent pub grub for very reasonable prices. Friendly efficient staff and lovely real ale. Do go there if you're in the area. Probably best to book to ensure a table as it was almost full when we were there.”

“Amazing place, really friendly staff. A member of our party hand wrote down everything that was gluten free- something you wouldn't get elsewhere. Food is wonderful and cooked really well. Brilliant selection. The only problem is the parking is a bit of a walk away, but blue badge holders can park in the street opposite. All in all a successful visit!”

“This was our first meal here, and we loved it. A hidden gem that's well worth trying out. Don't let the frontage put you off as once you go around the back, you'll see they have a lovely outdoor space with plenty of seating. It will be gorgeous in the summer. Lovely friendly welcome, attentive staff, and timely food, which was delicious!”

“We had a lovely lunch..the food exceeded our expectations. I don't eat out much as i am often disappointed in restaurant vegan food but the rainbow lasagne was very good. It took us a while to work out you had to order from the bar.”

“I came in today for a casual Christmas Day drink, and after seeing these reviews I have to write something. The customers were appalling, spitting on staffs faces about how their meals hadn’t arrived. I get I didn’t have a meal however, the staff had given up their Christmas Day to cater for your Christmas Day, they are the most lovely staff I’ve never had a bad experience in The White Horse. I think people need to realise they are eating in a pub, you are not going to get 5 star experience. Even though it is just a local pub The White Horse go above and beyond for their customers and unfortunately the day things went wrong, that couldn’t be controlled, was Christmas Day. Things happen, isn’t the end of the world think before your speak to people badly when they have given up their special day to cater for your special day.”

“Found this restaurant whilst driving past with work, thought that looks ok, checked on the internet and booked for Sunday lunch. Had a lovely 3 course meal and had not 1 thing negative to say about it. When again the following but this time opted for the menu rather than Sunday lunch. Again a lovely meal and nothing negative to say. The staff are friendly and professional, and a shout out to Lilia, only been once before and she remembered us and also remembered that I asked for no peas, that to me shows her quality as I’m sure she had served 100’s of customers over the previous week.”

“A couple of weeks ago I went to War Memorial Park with a group . We had to buy 18 different hot drinks in one go. The staff had been amazing about it. Managed the queue and kept smiling and chatting despite the wait. Well done all on the day. Very professional, positive, helpful. “On Saturday night I had my 60th birthday party at Lil Greens, I hired the Mezzanine for the evening. I was very impressed, from initial booking to the party night the service was great. Staff on the night were brilliant and did the very best to accommodate my guests. Special shout out to Saif and Joe on the bar upstairs, and to Katie for making booking process easy. We all had a fab night.....thanks to all at Lil Greens.”

“Had a chat with will the manager. He is a wonderful guy very friendly and helpful. First time me and my wife have come here and will definitely come back again on our travels.
