A fantastic atmosphere, relaxing countryside location at minutes from the city centre. The only bit is the prices, a bit higher than expected but definitely worth it. A great place for the whole family.”

“Super tasty and incredible value food and drinks. Come here if you're local to Swad as it's open to the public, don't let the barriers at the entrance to the industrial estate put you off (security is friendly) because the food and service is sooo worth it. Plus parking right outside :-)”

“We found this little gem hidden away down in a small court yard. WELL worth a visit would friendly people .we had the glutton free breakfast. They also do most thing glutton free like the fish and chips .”

“I would eat here again, food wasn't anything special and slightly pricing for what it was. But, decent portions, enough seating and in a nice area close to a walk around some greenery. They were happy to customise my order slightly to fit in with my requirements.”

Food was beautiful, staff were fab and their new iced coffee's are amazing.. as I am an avid coffee lover and it was definitely needed this morning! “Hubby and I went with Hattie our Cockerpoo. We had a delicious bacon cob and pot of tea and a cheese and onion toastie which was delicious as well. Cappuccino was the best I've had for a long time. Certainly go back.”

“Cracking joint this place let me tell ya pal! Its abit of an all rounder if im honest with ya. Its got a bar/cafe that always seems to be rammed with folk either sampling one of the quads finest or having a natter over a cuppa. Plenty of snack and food options available also. Its next door to the register office and have seen couples married having celebratory pints and also wakes taken place here! Upstairs they have a number of screens showing all kinds of films it really is a unique place. Gotta love the quad, keep up the good work you quadsters!”

“Every time we come from Brazil to visit my mother in law we go there to have some real English breakfast! It's excellent, well served, and well prepared. They have coffee, tea, some different sorts of beverages, like sodas and canned juice. The staff is very polite and efficient in their service and the place is clean.”

“Great pub in the city center. Got both indoor and outdoor seating. Good variety of beer available and they also do a meal service other than just pub food. Drinks can be walk-in but if you are going for food, a reservation is recommended. Staff is friendly and fast which is always good to see. Ideal if you are looking for a pub without leaving the city center.”

“Absolutely brilliant food and service. I’ve literally ordered 3 times this week and its definitely the best around. Ordered from a lot of other places before which has never really gave me the wow factor but this place is best of the best. Black pudding is to die for, I could eat a plate full of it. The delivery drivers are extremely polite and not just the type just to dump the food on the doorstep. Not the cheapest however its all high class food. Customer for life. Gav”

“Was excited to try The Windmill as it’s under new management. Went for Sunday lunch with my young family. The service and ambience was lovely. The food was superb. Absolutely delicious and great value for money. Huge portions. My Auntie took home a doggie bag and it lasted two more meals. My new favourite Sunday lunch in Derby. We will most definitely be back!”
