“We attended the Pavillion at Breadsall Priory for our treasured brother in laws life celebration. The venue was perfect, very helpful staff who were professional and attentive. The food was outstanding, I was expecting sandwiches and a typical cold buffet. There were hot choices and plenty of it.”
“Visited for an NHS event regarding having a check up on an ECG, blood pressure, diabetes, height, weight. Stands were available for more information on the above. Also NHS help to get on the NHS app. I can highly recommend anyone book when they next have the event. Plenty of people to guide you round, lovely and friendly, the place was immaculate too.”
“Uttoxeter Leisure Centre: A Clean and Well-Maintained Facility Uttoxeter Leisure Centre has proven to be a reliable and enjoyable destination for my fitness needs. The facility is well-maintained, with clean and tidy common areas and bathrooms. The recent refurbishment of the gym has given it a fresh and modern look, making it a pleasant space to workout. One of the highlights is the swimming pool, which is of a decent size and provides a refreshing environment for swimming. For those who enjoy racket sports, the badminton courts are always in good condition and offer a satisfying experience. While parking can be a bit of a hassle with the app-based payment system, the convenience of redeeming the payment at the counter mitigates this inconvenience. Overall, Uttoxeter Leisure Centre is a great choice for those seeking a clean, well-equipped, and enjoyable fitness experience.”
“Good atmosphere. Clean and quality running tracks. Very good football ground. Car parking available, no cycle/bike docking station.”
“Claire is a lovely manager and a real joy to meet. The facility is a nice big space with a large swimming pool and gym upstairs. The fitness studio is big with all the latest facilities. The cafe downstairs serves costa coffee and it's a nice place to relax before or after a workout.”
“Just held my son's 4th birthday party here. The kids loved the bouncy castle and soft play there was lots for them to have fun with! The staff were great and I really do recommend it, you get a lot of party for your money”
“Booked our 4 year olds soft play party here Sept 2025. The softplay has loads of different areas and activities within it. Our family love it and so did the kids at the party. We had studio B for the 2nd hour of the party and it was a great size for us to set out different activities for the kids to do after their food. The buffet was pretty basic but fine for kids, quite expensive for what it was, but I guess it saves prepping and the hassle of sorting it all out yourself! Overall, a big success, and great place for a party”
“Rob at the leisure centre was extremely helpful when I had some issues (my fault) signing up. Rob was friendly, professional, and made the whole sign-up process quick and easy. Thank you”

“Lovely warm pool and really friendly teachers”
“I recently visited the gym at Greenbank Leisure Centre and was really impressed. It’s a clean, well-organised space with a solid range of equipment – everything from free weights and resistance machines to cardio kit, all in great condition. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, with a good mix of people training at different levels. Whether you're into strength training, general fitness, or just starting out, there’s plenty here to support your goals. Staff were approachable and happy to answer any questions, and the whole place had a positive, community vibe. I also noticed how clean and well-maintained everything was, which makes a big difference during a workout. Overall, Greenbank Leisure Centre gym is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to get fit in a friendly, no-pressure environment. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Myself and a few friends have been on many spa days at Richmond and have always really enjoyed it. The two ladies who do the treatment’s, Amy and Jackie are both great and make everyone feel really special. I would recommend to anyone.”
“Excellent leisure centre provide great value for money health and fitness activities. The studio is great quality with a good air conditioning and music system. The gym is not huge, nut has everything needed, including free weights and functional area. The pool it good, however note you do need socks for aqua classes as it floor can be slippy. The staff are what make the place, from the great receptionist like Dawn, and the lifeguards like Joe, all outstanding and happy to help everyone.”
“Best thing I ever did as you are never to old to learn as it’s made a difference to my wellbeing as well. It’s true better late than never no matter what disabilities you have swimming is one of the best things to do and I’m loving it. If I could do it every day I’d be in the pool all the time. Great people who are very friendly and welcoming and passionate about their work. Thanks again for teaching me how to love swimming and get involved.”
“It's the greatest triangle in Milford, possibly Holbrook too!”
“Isaac is a brilliant teacher, he always makes lessons fun and enjoyable. He has lots of knowledge being a competitive swimmer himself for many years. Highly recommended”
“A family Club which accommodates swimmers of a wide range of abilities and ages and organises events and social activities for people to work together and make friends. In terms of diversity policy, I have felt fully included at this Club and have improved my fitness. Coaches are trained through Coaching Courses and DBS Checks paid for by the Club and work hard to deal with any conflicts and make difficult decisions. There is a stepped squad structure for swimmers in which members can be moved between squads and swimmers who participate mainly for fitness reasons are given the freedom to compete if they choose to. Members are charged at a good rate and leavers are treated reasonably. The Club also has a vibrant Masters section.”
