“Visited on Easter Sunday for a birthday celebration. Only found out about the place online the day before. How have we not been here before? This is a little gem of a restaurant. Although fairly small, and quiet when we arrived late afternoon, the restaurant had a nice feel from the moment we arrived. Service was excellent all the way through even as it got busier, and all our questions about the menu were answered by the manager who obviously took great pride in the restaurant. The food was excellent as we shared 5 tapas between 2 of us, which was more than enough, although we were tempted by dessert. The selection of wines was good, and the Spanish beers were interesting and varied. Overall an excellent meal, and good value when taking into account drinks as well. We’ll be back.”

“Was excited to try The Windmill as it’s under new management. Went for Sunday lunch with my young family. The service and ambience was lovely. The food was superb. Absolutely delicious and great value for money. Huge portions. My Auntie took home a doggie bag and it lasted two more meals. My new favourite Sunday lunch in Derby. It’s always so nice to see her. The clothes are beautiful and unusual. This is a really unique boutique with lovely energy and a great vibe x. There is loads to choose from and a good range of sizes. It almost feels like a spa experience when I visit and even if I dont see anything to buy, (which is rare) it’s worth going to. The stock all year round is class. Top place. Do visit this gorgeous place x”
