“I would like to say about me experience back last week on June the 23rd at 17:15 I was using a self check out machine in which a had a few major things I was using while I was trying to see if a voucher I had worked and an assistant called Amy came and helped me greatly with both and had both a friendly and professional attitude and made sure the voucher worked and that all my items went through as smoothly as could be so I'd like to thank Amy for her help hope her manager sees this and commends her for it.”

“Had fish, chips and peas here and they were absolutely beautiful - cooked to perfection and piping hot. A lad called Mark cooked them - very well done!!”

“Let me start by saying that the food was amazing. It got delivered in time, it was still hot and it tasted so good. Also, I ordered two mains and two sides and got stuff for free. The person who delivered the food was also very friendly. Basically, the best Chinese food I've had so far and I honestly recommend it. I don't have anything negative to say about this place. 5 stars and the best review is the least I can do. Thank you for the amazing food. :)”

“A couple years ago this shop looked untidy, unorganised and had a very poor variety of products. I avoided it at all costs. Since there is a new manager (Aga, I believe) this shop has been transformed! It looks tidy, clean, organised, staff is nice and helpful. I've become a regular customer now. It just shows how one person in the right role can make a difference.”

“I ordered a veg pizza from Pizza Hut and it was absolutely delicious! The crust was soft on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside. The vegetables were fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavour — especially the capsicum, olives, and onions. The cheese was perfectly melted and not too greasy. I also tried the stuffed crust option, which added a cheesy twist to every bite! Great value for money and quick service. If you’re looking for a satisfying vegetarian pizza, Pizza Hut is a solid choice. Will definitely order again!”

“Never been in but they always go out their way. I called cos the app wasnt working. Everything is the same price over the phone. The fish suppers are so good small is a big amount but even the large is still inexpensive and you get 2 Lving at the grassmarket I cannot complain the dirst time. Second time was fine app wasnt working did j get my food yes. I was missing the cheese and curry sauce on my supper but its fine it was still roasting hot and the cheapest place still in Edinburgh and paid at the door and I was their last order I probably lost a pound but a karge fish supper and chips cheese and curry for 15 wothput delivery I cant complain.”

“Had a wonderful 2 days staying at Inchyra , and had dinner here both nights . Food first class , not a great selection on the menu , but what they do , they do really very well . All of the staff , both restaurant and bar are so polite , made us feel special.”

“This place is amazing and so are the staff, I was a tiny bit drunk last night and ordered the wrong ribs and they knew it was wrong because I left a daft note and they tried to phone me but didn’t get me and they sent the right thing! Also the salt and pepper chips are amazing”

“Great place to eat and drink something! Sweet portions of scons, and more! All surrounded by the botanic garden makes this place a nice place to be. Feeling relax with the nature! Located in the heart of the botanic garden you will find this place, nice terrace but inside is so cool as well. Downstairs there is a nice shop and part of the museum with expos!”

“Last night, Friday 8th August 2025, I brought a bus load of gig goers, I was feeling pretty hungry,.so I found this place, I ordered the donner kebab, the young lad behind the counter was extremely polite, Aaron I think his name was, we got chatting after he noticed my Geordie accent. He asked if I had a kebab from Edinburgh, and I said no, Aaron said, I'll make you one , you'll never forget, boy was he right!!!!!! Everything was fresh, the chilli sauce was something I'd never seen or tasted before, and unless I'm back in Edinburgh, I don't think i will, it was absolutely beautiful, more like a liquid type sauce, but wow!!! “Absolutely recommend Javits! The staff are friendly, helpful and just great at what they do. The food is by far the best in my area. I've been to every other takeaway within maybe 3 or 4 miles and Javits is by far the best. Hot tasty food delivered quickly! What more could I ask? Definitely be back! ”
