βI had An amazing experience at Holistic touch .the environment is very relaxing and Rebecca makes you feel comfortable . She has a great knowledge into beauty therapies and is very gentle in facials . I will certainly go again for further treatments .β
βI have been coming here since it opened having gone to Charlene for about 20 years. I have booked treatments for my daughter as a treat. She said that it was the best she ever had. Who doesnβt love a scrub experience. I have yet to try the reiki so it was recommended by Almira today and I will book. My nails r always well done too. Frankly would not go anywhere else. There is also a loyalty scheme. Whoop whoop itβs a win.β

βBeen going to Fine Fellas at Fountainbridge for a while now and would highly recommend. Always a fantastic service from Josh and great value for money.β
βThis place is an oasis of calm even when the rest of the city is busy! It's a members only club, and there is sometimes a wait for membership - I had to wait about 6 months, but it was worth it. The pool is often very quiet, with only one or two other people in it - I've had it to myself occasionally! There is a steam room, sauna, and hot pool by the pool, as well as a fully kitted out gym upstairs. The staff are friendly, as are the other members. One of the unique features of this place is that when you join, you get a small locker where you can keep your swimwear. Tag your swimwear with your locker number and you can actually chuck it into the laundry baskets with the towels and the staff will wash and dry it for you overnight, and leave it back in your locker. This means that I can go straight from work, for example, to the club without having to go home to pick up my swimwear. Very convenient!β
βLove this pool, me and my children come here often, the wave pool is great and the slide is fun. I like how it slopes from shallow to deep, suitable for babies and great swimmers. Showers are good and loads changing rooms. Kids area has little play parts in the pool.β
βNice gym, great equipment. Wish i felt more comfortable approaching staff for help in being shown something just for a few minutesβ
βJust read the previous terrible review giving this lovely facility one star and felt I had to respond. This is a beautiful pool and it has a sauna and steam room. It is very clean and well maintained and the staff are so helpful and friendly. I attended an aquafit class here, then I had a swim and sauna. I left the building feeling very relaxed after all the exercise. The Β£63 membership that the one star reviewer referred to is a full fitness one- this means unlimited access to any pool, gym or fitness class in the city run by Edinburgh Leisure. Pure Gym only offer gym facilities- there is no pool so there are no aquafit classes there. I would not imagine that they are able to provide the range of classes that Edinburgh Leisure do- at Leith Victoria in addition to Aquafit they run Pilates, yoga, Group cycle, RPM, Zumba and many others. I regularly use both the pool at Warrender and attend classes at the Royal Commonwealth Pool and I was very impressed by this facility and will definitely be back.β
βHonestly this pool is a hidden gem in the middle of Edinburgh tucked conveniently behind Haymarket Station. I went at 9am on Sunday morning and was surprised at how busy it was. The group of older gents in the early morning queue were super friendly and jolly and I had a nice laugh with one of them about the lockers and someone stealing his shoes (kids, joking). The pool itself is clean and bright and the space is lovely. On poolside changing which is a nod to the victorian baths. Poolside was really clean. Five lanes catering for different speeds. Let me use my finger paddles which was cool. Showers fine on poolside. The other swimmers were lovely, the lifeguard waved goodbye to me when I left. Iβve rarely been in a nicer friendlier environment. The ONLY downside was the steps to get into the pool were really odd and wouldnβt fit someone with not great mobility to get in and out. There was a brilliant cafe near by for my post swim breakfast. Iβll definitely be back when I next visit Edinburgh. Wonderful.β
βI always buy a weekly visitors pass to swim at Glenogle when I visit Edinburgh. Fantastic Victorian pool with sauna and steam room, run by friendly and helpful staff. A hidden gem that I would highly recommend!β
βReally helpful staff. Decent weights area and great facilities. Cant fault it for leisure centre.β
βOh my goodness!!! This was such an amazing spa!! We've been to many and One Spa is definitely at the top of my list. After traveling Ireland and the UK, we thought it would be nice to spend the last day of our trip at the Spa to relax and rejuvenate. My husband and I chose the "Signature at One" package that included 1 hour and 50 minute treatment (body scrub, facial and massage). It also included 3 hours of their Thermal Spa experience. It was absolutely amazing and I recommend everyone experience it!β
βGreat gym with loads of equipment & plenty of space. Cafe on site & plenty of parking. Changing rooms are good, but a little difficult to find if you don't know where they are, signage isn't great, but overall a great gymβ
βAfter a week walking around the city, it was time to relax and refresh. I booked a general massage with David, who did a very professional, very relaxing massage. Even the day after, I felt grand.β
βReally relaxing health club Joined 3 months ago and I've not a bad word to say about this place, perhaps the showers could be a bit better though. The pool is warm and the gym is small but cosy, its never got more than 3 or 4 people in it which is great to have a quiet gym. Staff are extremely friendly and they offer really nice cheap cups of tea and coffee.β
βExcellent staff, good selection equipment in gym, pool and steam/sauna are worth a visit.β
βWe enjoyed a spa day followed by dinner. The spa is really lovely, staff are friendly and attentive and the facilities are excellent. Especially loved the heated beds. Food was delicious.β
βGood gym where you can just focus in and get on with it.β
βMartial Arts Club for Tang Soo Do classes. Friendly classes for all age groups. Great for keeping flexible and fit.β
βGreat leisure centre! I mainly use the gym which is very well equipped for most gym users needs (squat racks, Olympic bars/plates, adjustable benches, dumbbells up to 50 kg, treadmills, machines etc.). The staff are always very friendly, and helpful whenever you have a question.β
βCarnegie Leisure Centre is an absolute gem for the Dunfermline community. Whether you're into swimming, fitness, or family activities, this place has something for everyone. The swimming pool facilities are top-notch β especially the main pool and the brilliant leisure pool with a flume and wave machine. Itβs perfect for both serious swimmers and kids who just want to have fun. The poolside is clean, well-maintained, and well-supervised by friendly staff. The gym area is modern and well-equipped, with a good range of cardio machines, resistance equipment, and free weights. It's spacious and rarely feels overcrowded, even during peak hours. The fitness classes are varied and professionally run β from yoga and spin to body pump and aqua aerobics. Changing facilities are clean and secure, and the cafΓ© area is a nice bonus β great for a post-workout coffee or snack. What really stands out is the staff: always helpful, welcoming, and professional. They create a very inclusive and relaxed environment for everyone, from beginners to regulars. If youβre in Dunfermline or nearby, Carnegie Leisure Centre is definitely worth a visit. Great value, excellent facilities, and a real community feel.β
βHandy motorhome aire, bays only sized for small commercial vans, Get in early if you want a good spot. Β£5 honesty box at far end, I doubt many donate.β
βPool is great, my 2 yearls old loves it. It has couples slides for different ages and a wave coming every 30min. Good priced and there are family changing roomsβ
