Friendly staff , Good ambiance All types of food available Sea food platter (request to searve everything hot) , Spicy chicken options pizza for vegetarians Multiple side dishes , hard and soft drinks options Dessert is a must try. Scops and cakes and many combination available Owner is also humble interacted jokingly. Overall we had a fun time ate They take card , cash and allow bill split for frnds group”

“It was delicious. We tried the boozy brunch menu and the food is super nice, the cocktails as well (really recommend the Pong Star Fizz and the Zombie punch). The service was a 10/10, super nice staff!”

“Now as a bit of an expert about takeaways if I say so myself. Mario's Definitely serves the best doner kebab in the whole of Scotland. After doing a bit of research I found out they are one of 3 shops in the whole of Edinburgh who actually make the doner in house and I can say without a doubt it's the best.”

“During my recent visit to Pizza Hut, I had an awesome experience thanks to my server, Caren. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a big smile that made me feel welcome. Caren was super friendly and always checked to see if I needed anything, like refilling my drink or suggesting what to order. “The staff here really went above and beyond to get my food to me. There was a mix up with my delivery and the delivery guy delivered my food to god knows where. I called the pizza hut and the lady was very understanding, remade my order and made sure it got to me. It might seem like such a small thing but it really made my day especially as I hadn't eaten all day. IYKYK, it's easy to get annoyed when hungry so thank you to the staff that listened to me.”

“Great lunch and snack menu resembling of Asian street food with a fusion touch to it. I had two buns with a very generous portion of beef and tofu filling for £5.95, topped with salad. The sushi/burrito invention looked good on other customers' plates too. I found the little desserts particularly endearing - one can chose 6 for £3.50 or any single one for £0.60. This coupled with a relaxed atmosphere, spacious interior in a raw but warm (wood!) decor and really friendly staff calls for 5 stars.”

“My nephew and I popped in here on a Sunday afternoon - he was starving! - and I’m so glad we did. Our server was absolutely wonderful and I’m just sorry I never caught her name. She made a quick lunch for us seem like a big deal experience and my nephew had so much fun with the activities and crayons she offered on arrival. The only downside is that the venue was empty - a symptom of the ongoing scaffolding around the place. And I say “downside” because I mean folk are missing out - we enjoyed have a relaxing and chill experience so close to the Royal Mile. This location is well worth a visit for a quick bite - and the kids £8.95 3-course menu is a wonder given the location. Lovely experience!”

“We liked this place so much we went twice. We had the Salmon Teriyaki Bowl, Veg Tofu Teriyaki Bowl, Veg Poke Bowl and Salmon sushi. The Veg Poke Bowl wasn't bad, but the rest was delicious. And very healthy with lots of veggies. The quantity was great — two bento bowls were adequate for the three of us. Tip: Ask for extra soya sauce and ginger packets for the Teriyaki. It tastes even better. The restaurant is also well situated and clean. Worth visiting several times.”

“We go to Tony macaroni Livingston as a family fairly regularly. Each time we are there we are blown away by the service. Claire always does everything that she can to make sure our time their is as comfortable as possible. Having a daughter who has additional needs can make it difficult when eating out, especially because of the issues she has with food. Claire makes this experience one that we actually look forward too. She remembers our family everytime we go, always asks how we all are. She asks my daughter where she would be comfortable sitting and makes this work no matter how busy the restaurant is. She accommodates my daughters food choices and regularly checks if everything is ok. She takes an interests in how both our daughters are and chats to them regularly throughout our visit, ensures they enjoy their time at the restaurant and just generally makes our time there so easy and comfortable, something which doesnt always happen at other restaurants. I would highly recommend going to Tony macaroni, simply because everyone is treated fairly and accepted for who they are. I can't thank Claire enough for the care and compassion she shows our family at every visit. She includes our younger daughter at all times also, doing everything she can to make them feel welcome. Both our girls love going for food and ask constantly when we can go back. Thanks so much again Claire for making a situation that can be so difficult, so easy for us all to enjoy.”

“Literally get a take away here once a week. Kebabs are amazing and the burgers are absolutely brilliant. Flame grilled burgers and you can actually taste it. Been ordering hear for about 2 years + now. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in Penicuik. Quarter pounder cheese burgers or the yankie doodle dandie burger! Brilliant! The kebabs are really amazing also. I’ve had my fair share of kebabs else where but Corfu is defo the best for kebabs and burgers Delivery always comes within 30 mins. No issues”

“I’ve been ordering from HUI for years. The reason because food is excellent so is the service. They go an extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied. The portions are good size and ingredients are fresh and tasty. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough! I no longer live in Edinburgh but still make an effort to get my food from them to take home because they are worth it!”
