The drivers are courteous & friendly, no matter how busy they are. Ive had a few bad experiences with another local Taxi service, rude drivers, exorbitant prices & poor driving even. Also quoting a time of arrival & being at least 15 mins late. One driver told me to get a f☆ing bus. Not Premier Taxi's, if they can't help they actually give you a number for another service that can, or they will do their upmost to squeeze you in somewhere! It's a pleasure being driven by them. “I live in liberton and trying to get a taxi up that way in the morning isn’t happening for a good 30-50mins. And I always forget about bluebird as from the town but there at your door within 5-10. Which is what I always need as run late constantly. After 5-6pm find them hard to get”

“Great customer service from friendly and helpful staff. I visited twice in two weeks to DHL Express some urgent documents overseas. I used the DHL website to register my A4 document parcel and with the barcode provided all I had to do was turn up at the DHL Express drop-off point. Parking was a little sparse outside the building, but I was able to find a spot. Inside the reception area, you ring the buzzer for attention and someone soon appeared to take my documents and payment. The documents reached their destination 3 days later as promised. All in all it was a great experience, excellent staff, and I would use again.”

“The perfect place to stay for our mini moon in Edinburgh! The rooms were really comfortable, with a huge bed with lovely bedding. The room had everything we needed: towels and toiletries, hot drinks, TV, as well as access to a lounge area. The location was lovely and quiet, while still being close to the centre on foot and by tram (nearest tram stop was 15 mins walk away). It was a great surprise that many aspects of the B&B were eco-friendly, from the toiletries to the sourcing of the food. John was a great host, super friendly and helpful. You can tell he cares about making sure people have a good stay!”

“I was relocating to Canada in 2023 I had long known about Purdies as many many years ago when my parents were moving they had contacted Purdies they were excellent then and are excellent now. From start to finish the service was superb I had lots of questions and they were answered promptly the employee I was dealing with was Gemma her knowledge friendliness were second to none nothing was too much trouble from start to finish. Unfortunately we were in a position that we had to come back to Scotland in 2025. How did I do that from Canada I didn’t know any companies so my first port of call or email was Gemma at Purdies. Sure enough she was on the ball got me sorted straightaway with a local shipping agent and guided me through the process all over again. The return process was made so easy through the knowledge and expertise. Both crews that dealt with my shipment leaving and coming back were friendly helpful and got straight on the job again the can do attitude is perfect just what you need as moving is such a stressful situation so all the reassurance and communication gave me great confidence that I had chosen the correct company for my relocation I honestly can’t praise Purdies enough and if I am ever in the position where I will be moving again they would be my go to company absolutely 100 percent”
