βMy daughter has been dancing at The Studio for 14 years. Whilst there, she has learned the ability to express herself, communicate with others, work in a team, the sense of responsibility due to your friends, colleagues and teacher when working together, and to respect the work ethic expected of her. Maureen Christie has been a real inspiration to my child and she will take the kindness, love and support she has received from Maureen with her as she moves on to university after the summer. I cannot recommend The Studio highly enough.β
βThis shop have all kinds of African food stuffβ
βIt was not my first visit, and it won't be my last. Good choice of food options, and they cater well to a gluten-free diet. Our food was delicious, and the portions were generous and they have a nice selection of wines and spirits. I would highly recommend you give this venue a try. Staff are friendly, helpful, and professional.β
βNice well maintained centre, great parking and cafe very reasonable.β
βWe stayed from July 31 to August 3 in an Executive Double Room with Lounge Access and couldnβt have chosen a better base. The location is unbeatable β right next to Queen Street Station and around the corner from Buchanan Street, perfect for exploring Glasgow on foot. The Executive Lounge was a real treat, with snacks, refreshments, and extra drinks β a great place to meet like-minded travellers enjoying Glasgowβs hospitality. Our minibar was replenished daily (thank you, Mary!) and the personal touches really stood out. Special thanks to Patrick at reception and Mary for making us feel so welcome β People Make Glasgow is especially true here. We didnβt take breakfast, but the rooftop terrace offers fantastic views over the city, George Square (closed for renovations in August), and beyond. Around the hotel youβll also notice touches inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, from the artwork to the furniture β a delight for art lovers. Our room had a classic style but was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, coffee machine, desk, chairs, and everything we could have needed. We liked it so much we even considered extending our stay by two days β the rate offered was excellent, and we genuinely felt wanted there. No doubt weβd happily stay again.β
βLovely atmosphere. Great service, cannot fault. Food was delicious. The only negatives I could say are that the service charge is added on to the bill and isnβt discretionary and I ordered a cocktail that was more expensive on the bill than on the menu. But on the whole we were very happy so didnβt raise these. Would definitely eat here againβ
βI called in this evening. I know the place from visits my daughters make. What impressed me, was that the lady in charge - who had a proprietorial manner - was instructing a couple of youngsters in tasks which she had set. There were customers in the shop, and the instructions were given in an understated and dignified manner and caused no embarrassment to either the youngsters or the customers. Class. The food was as ever, excellent quality and great value.β
βOur wedding at Cottiers was just, put simply, a DREAM. I fell in love with this venue long before I was even engaged! I just knew it was where we would be having our wedding reception; thankfully, my now husband, agreed! We were blown away when we visited the venue initially. Once all of our decor etc had come together on the day (thanks to our wonderful suppliers and Team Cottiers) we walked into the hall for 'first looks': we were absolutely besotted. Not only is this venue visually stunning and provides the most perfect atmosphere for a wedding, the food was TO DIE FOR. 'Best food I've had at a wedding' is what we've heard on repeat for the last seven weeks now! Lastly, but by no means least - Eve and Erin, our coordinators, were nothing short of phenomenal. They had the patience of saints when it came to my constant stream of questions and emails -for the best part of a year. The girls kept me calm throughout and nothing was too much for them. What a credit they are to this establishment! Both girls are responsible for what we knew would be the most amazingly beautiful day β
βA real pub in an area surrounded by bars. Great pint of Guinness. Staff know their regulars and welcome new customers.β
βDoing a little Christmas shopping and saw this beautiful stall in the thistle centre and had to stop! Saw something for everyone that my family would love. Brought them home and everyone had there treats and they all wanted to know where I got them! Everything was a great price too. Wish I got the guys name, he was very helpful and a great gentleman. See you soon!β
βThe place is clean and well fitted out . I was surprised to see a commemorative plaque to one of my ex workmates. A lovely place.β

βwent to centre 81 and got a massage by Angela from Aspiring Minds Scotland who has a room there for rekkis, hot stones, massages and much more. it was the best massage I've had. Angela knows what she's doing what an experience, it was amazing. I will be going back that's for sure. I would highly recommend her if that's what your looking for. Then afterwards I went to the cafΓ© the food is lovely and really good prices. I also joined the gym which is really good to. over all a good experience at centre 81. Thanks Angela from Aspiring Minds Scotland I feel so much better and my sore shoulder and neck is feeling so much better today. xβ

βA fun place to go with your child under 5, I liked that it is only for under 5's and not having older Children running around in the toddler areas like some softplays we attend, it keeps it safe and fun for younger Children.β
βThe best wee pub in Bellshill. The abuse you get from the bar staff is the best you will ever get. Currently a free jukebox Friday and Saturdays from 7pm till closing time. Locals all make you very welcome.β
βFantastic, enthusiastic school and talented studentsβ
βBright, clean community centre with great parking. We used the community centre for a staff development day for 60 people. Room hire fees were very reasonable and the staff were helpful prior to the event. I was able to pop in and have a look at the space. It would have been helpful if the member of staff on duty on the day was better prepared. Such as having an cable for the large screen that connects to a laptop. Thankfully I had one in my car. Other than that it was a great venue and I would use again. Thank youβ
βHad a great day with my daughter. The staff are always so warm and welcoming. They go above and beyond everytime. Making sure you have everything you need and make time to talk to the kids. I honestly donβt know how they stay so energetic. Iβd be napping in a cupboard by lunchtime. Keep up the good work girls. βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβ

βI had a ton of fun at Lamont farm with my wife today. They have a plethora of animals living happily including goats, lamas, ducks, chicken, horses, and shetland ponies. The volunteers are incredibly friendly, was a great atmosphere. Lamont farm doesn't even have an entry cost, so I think it is a great project to donate to via the website if you can afford. Especially considering many of the animals have been rescued. Thanks for a great day. Ill be back for sure!β
βWas in Glasgow with some friends and stumbled on this cracking bar. We were only going in for one beer but had such a good time we stayed all night. The atmosphere was really welcoming, a great crowd and even better staff. The beer was flowing and so easy the chat. We laughed and joked and sang our hearts out. Look forward to seeing Julie and her boys again next time we are in town. Thanks again, you really made our nightβ
βDelightful place to eat especially for the narrow canal people. The atmosphere is lovely and very restful/peaceful. The wait staff are personable and professional. Service was impeccable. Options provide a variety of well prepared. There are also vegan items on the menu.β
βGo to slimming world there, staff so nice and place is grtβ
βHad a brilliant meal here with my partner. We arrived a little early so took our drinks to the beer garden. The place is lovely inside with a very good atmosphere. Menu is Indian and a European choice. Was very difficult to chose because the selections were great. I had prawn cocktail and steak pie and my partner had chicken pakora and korma. Portion size was great. Staff were lovely and very friendly. Service was quick and at Β£14.95 for a 2 course meal it was great value for money. We will definitely go back. No problem with parking as there were lots of spaces.β
