“Well as part of a chain of shops it is easy to see how everything and everyone goes by the same standards as laid down by the company and their directives but this branch always seems to be the one that shines in comparison to others in the area. Toilets are always clean and to say they actually have toilet paper in their too which in some branches you have to check before you lock the door just in case. Always find someone at the self scan and at a manned till. Whereas some times I have to ask for someone to use the manned tills if I have a little too much for the self scan area. So hands down it is my go to 'local aldi despite the fact it is nae my local by a few miles”

“3rd Visit. All Visits have been great. Girl behind the bar is polite and takes good care of you. I never have to wait around for another drink. Food is good, well presented and very reasonably priced. The owner (I think) is also pleasant, nice lady to chat with. Dog friendly. “Wonderful little cafe, busy but the service team was amazing and totally kept on top of orders with the efficiency of a well oiled machine. Food was just superb, highlights were hash browns being crunchy packets of fluffy potato, & the black pudding was top restaurant quality cooked to perfection. Best breakfast I’ve had in a very very long time, and not by a small margin. I’ll definitely be coming back, just to check it’s not a one-off! 11/10 - would recommend”

“I'm a lifelong lover of little cafes such as Elles Kitchen. I spent a couple of weeks in the area last year - coming from Dublin for a couple of weeks on business. Elle herself was an authentic Scottish lady; during my regular visits, she always remembered my name and seemed genuinely interested in my reason for visiting Glasgow. I had the beef burger with haggis and my husband and friend had the chicken burger and the chicken fajitas, all very tasty and fresh. £6 for a strawberry daiquiri is roughly the same as Glasgow prices but they were delicious.
