Charlotte who I had put the enquiry into was prompt with responses/quotes and had organised for Andy to come out within an hour of asking. Andy got the tyre replaced in jig time so hardly ate into my day, brilliant service, really nice people, convenient for customer. 100% will be using again and recommending to friends & family!”

“Absolutely delighted with the repair by Andy. I wasn't sure if should claim on my insurance after I discovered someone had dented and scratched my car. With an excess to pay in addition to making a claim which would have no doubt have increased my insurance premium quite a bit. After a quick search of local repairers Andy's website popped up and I was able to submit pictures of the damage online. I did this on a Sunday night and Andy got back to me early the next morning with a step by step breakdown of what was required with a very reasonable quote. After giving Andy the go ahead he was very accommodating with dates for me as I can't always be at home. Andy turned up and spent the best part of a full working day on the repair. I was blown away by the results, you'd never know anything had happened at all. Would definitely contact Andy in the future if I needed any type of repair work carried out. First class.”

“Our existing air source heating system broke down early December and we decided to replace it with a gas boiler. We accepted the quote from MCG and, understanding that we had no heating or hot water, they changed their work schedule so that we had heating for Christmas. The new boiler and other modifications were completed by the 23rd December. We were so grateful for their prompt attention and willingness to help us out in a difficult situation. In addition they identified a couple of underfloor issues which we would not be aware of and carried out repairs on these At all times we received excellent service , very good workmanship and the working areas were left tidy and clear of materials. If we got in touch by e mail or phone then they communicated back quickly and they told us clearly what day they would come and when they would arrive. “Due to a mishap while removing a radiator to decorate, we ended up with a leaking pipe. Found 24/7 Heating Solutions here on Google, and gave them a ring to see if they could help us out. Absolutely delighted with the service, especially given that it was a Sunday afternoon. The plumber was with us well within the hour promised, and after checking out the problem, drained the whole system down, fixed the problem and then refilled the heating system. Very quick, polite, clean and efficient service. No complaints about the amount charged either. Thoroughly recommend, and will certainly use them again in the future.”

But more so came across some snags that had to be sorted and they graciously took it in their stride. I previously had Supagard done on another car in Mercedes in Edinburgh and they did a rubbish job . It was well worth it because when I collected my car I could not believe the difference. They went above and beyond and were such lovely people. Mark and Margaret are so lovely.”

“Very very helpful. My oil light came on recently and I noticed a drip coming from my car. I phoned and advised I was concerned I might have an oil leak. although they had no appointments, they advised me to drop of my car on the Friday morning and they would try their best to look at it for me that day. Within a couple of hours of dropping my car off in the morning they phoned me before lunchtime to advise me that my car was fine and did not require any work and explained to me what the drip was and the oil with my type of car. I could tell that they had a really busy day when I attended to drop my car off and collect it. I was so grateful with the customer service. This is my second time using this garage after my colleagues at work recommended them to me . “My Tesla Model S has just had 4 wheel alignment done at Automek and I am ecstatic about the results and the high standard of professionalism shown by the staff. Andrew explained everything on the phone when I called to book. On arrival I was seen immediately and Andrew went through the procedure and when I returned after a few hours the car was ready. The car's alignment was miles out and they managed to bring it back to correct settings and tweak it to their preferred setup. Andrew was vastly knowledgeable about the setting up of the geometry of the car and incredibly patient explaining everything. The car drives beautifully now, I am very happy with the service and the cost was very reasonable and as per the quote when booking. I can highly recommend Automek as an excellent garage to have your car looked after by people who know what they are doing and provide great service.”

“Had a huge problem yesterday after a well known National fitted 2 new tyres last week. Unfortunately I had a burst and AA took me to a tyre company in Ayr. They sheared the locking wheel nut, AA confirmed that they were torqued far too high. Contacted the National and they refused to accept any responsibility. I was recommended J&H and they had all the wheelnuts removed by a specialist and fitted new nuts all round. Staff were superb from Reception to the Owner, incredibly efficient and had me back on the road within 24 hours. They dug me out of a hole and I couldn't recommend them highly enough and will get all my work done there in the future.”

The team was super helpful and slotted the car in within a few days. Verified the fault and carried out what was quite a big job.
