“The staff went above and beyond, assisted me with decorations and had a vegan diet with no coriander and a group of 13 adults, they did amazing, the food was amazing, drinks. I would highly recommend and we celebrated my mother's 80th birthday in still at Jimbu, thank-you to all the staff that made this happen. Tracey”

“Italian restaurant in Motherwell. Lovely setting. Busy but seats spread out. Attentive servers, fabulous food, very big portions. Nice atmosphere. I had the soup of the day (Chicken), spaghetti bolognese (partner had the steak) and vanilla fudge sundae (my partner had the sticky toffee pudding) 9/10 look forward to coming back soon.”

“Really nice risotto and pizza. Pistachio meringue needs a rethink it was hard and very dry, but lovely staff, free liqueur at end and my salmon risotto was delicious. Wine nicely chilled. 2 courses and bottle wine for 2 was 60 quid so very reasonable.”

“A warm and welcoming spot with delicious food and great service. The mushrooms were crispy, and bibimbap sauce as well as the kimchi were definitely the highlights - the flavours were well-balanced and complimented the meal. It was also my first time trying hotteok and it was amazing, went really well with the ice cream. This will be my go-to for future Glasgow visits.”

“Booked for early lunch (2pm) as fully booked for later in the day, staff very friendly and accommodating, food was first class (tiger prawns with spaghetti, haddock with tiger prawns) only minor issue was limited wine by the glass but can understand why restaurant's do it. Reasonably priced for quality of food and service, will definitely return but book in advance.”

“Highly recommend this place was our first time trying it. Big portions and served to you quick. We could the Chilli Ramen with chicken, Loaded Katsu Curry Fries, Chicken Gyoza and Chicken yakitori skewers all of it was absolutely delicious can’t wait to come back again.”

We were not expecting to encounter such a quiet and perfect spot near the end of our trip. It was a truly beautiful experience. And the food was seriously delicious with good portions!! So much better than your big food chains. We need to support independent businesses more. Thank you to the man who could make this experience possible!!! He was so friendly and kind and an amazing cook! I would recommend this place to anyone!! It is very worth going to!!! We will miss it and will be back again!!”

“My new favourite place. Hadn’t been before but will definitely be back again soon. Super tasty sandwiches. Made in lovely flatbreads , so the filling becomes the star of the meal, and you don’t feel uncomfortably bloated after. Had a tasty coffee too. Good interesting vegan and vegetarian options. Serve by a pleasant friendly person, who once served checked in once then left you to enjoy the food. Good background music, just there not annoyingly loud. Should have taken photos, but was too busy enjoying the food.”

“This establishment has been around for years although it has moved premises since I was last in Duke St ( and that was many years ago ) real authentic Italian dining food was delicious staff very attentive could not find fault with anything another eatery I shall return to 5*”

“I had an incredible experience at Sarti. The atmosphere was really warm and welcoming, and the service was amazing from start to finish. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely looked after. The food was outstanding. Everything tasted authentically Italian and was packed with flavour. You can tell a lot of care goes into their dishes, and every plate we had was delicious. Overall, Sarti was fantastic. Great service, great atmosphere, and incredible food. I’d absolutely go back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a really good Italian meal.”

“La Casa is a bit off the beaten track but it's well worth seeking out because they serve great food. The restaurant is spacious and well appointed with very friendly staff. The lunch menu is great value and has plenty to choose from including daily specials like roast beef in red wine sauce with red cabbage. Excellent! It has plenty of free parking too. Go round the back if it's busy.”

“Every dish I had was superb. I had a large selection of sushi (salmon, tuna and fried chicken) that were the best I've ever tasted and eaten. The portions were also very big in comparison to other Japanese restaurants I have been to. I also had a beef yaki soba that was better than any I've ever had before. The price was very reasonable particularly for the quality of food being received. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that appreciates delicious and diverse Japanese cuisine.”
