“Had my 3 dogs into Scotvet over the past week for check ups, worming & boosters etc Everyone is friendly, welcoming and supportive. The vets actually listen to what you say and help make the best choices for your pet. They have seen our family go through lots of heartache with our pets in recent years, always at the end of a phone for guidance. 5*”
“Vet Zoe is incredible. We had to put out 14 year old Chocolate lab down a few weeks ago and she was the most honest, genuine, sincere person I’ve ever met. She was really professional but had so much compassion and empathy. Thank you for everything, it was an incredibly hard day but you showed us genuine care and we really appreciate that. Vets for Pets team are all amazing 5/5 stars definitely!”
“We have used Mctaggart vet for years they have always been very helpful and supportive with the care of all our animals. We had to put our beloved Dog Lexie to sleep today and we were supported through out the full process. Lexie went to sleep and was looked after with respect. I would highly recommend this veterinary surgery.”
“Very friendly, helpful staff. Was our first visit and it was nice to know the vet knew Luna’s history. Everything was explained clearly. Would maybe have liked a breakdown of costs as the price of the appointment came as a surprise. But the service was great and the vet and nurse were very good with Luna.”
“Really pleased to have found this vet. We've brought both cats there and they've been wonderful. One cat is super anxious and the vet did all they could to keep them calm during their visit. Really appreciated that they went out of their way to make it less stressful for her.”
“A very pleasant atmosphere very professional made you relax feel at ease and handled our cat extremely gently .A credit to the profession and very welcoming”
“Excelent practice. Great advice on my pugs first visit. Great price. Would recomend all pug owners to go. This is not a vet who has pound signs in his eyes when you walk in. Friendly staff with great knowlege.”
“Brilliant vet. Jim is so compassionate. Nothing he does, is done for the money. Enjoy your retirement Jim , you have more than earned it.”
“It was easy to find with lots of parking and plenty of green spaces to walk the dog before going in. The reception staff were very kind and helpful and the waiting area is bright airy and very spacious, there are wee individual pods to sit in so nervous/excitable pets have space. I think cats had their own room. The vet/Dr we saw was very kind and thorough and we were kept informed of our dogs progress throughout. Nobody wants to visit the hospital with their pet but if we had to go again it would be reassuring to know it was the UoGSAH we were returning to.”
“We have never had a bad experience here. Both of our rescue cats have been well cared for, and the excellent service provided here is much appreciated. 21/09/2023 update - my two cats have diagnosed conditions, and I can't fault the treatment they get from the vets and reception staff here. Everyone is so friendly and understanding, and they are both so well treated when we go. I highly recommend this vets4pets surgery. 16/04/2024 (update) - we continue to get phenomenal treatment at this vet surgery. Joana, in particular, is always very attentive and kind, making the whole process as painless as possible. Both of our cats have medical needs, so we are frequent flyers here. The reception staff are always lovely and knowledgeable and I wouldn't go anywhere else. 28/01/2025 (update) - My two girls, Maggie and Tonks, are regular visitors to this practice. We have been with them since we adopted our formerly feral tortoiseshell 7 years ago. Both kitties have individual medical needs and are regularly reviewed by this brilliant team. From Andrea on reception, to the poor nurses that have navigated Maggie's wriggly nail trims, to the team of vets who always go above and beyond to make sure they're doing the best they can for my kitties. Maggie requires a fair amount of medication for different ailments and this can be complex at times. In particular, Joana, Katie, and Shannon, know them both inside and out. They have all independently researched different treatments that could help and ease symptoms and improve her wellbeing and they are always honest about outcomes. I always receive results as soon as they're available and everyone at this practice has taken time to answer any questions I have had. I appreciate the honesty and respect everyone has given us. Due to Maggie's conditions, she has needed a few emergency appointments and this has never been an issue for anyone on the team. They will link in with other specialists to seek advice without hesitation and are always quick to provide feedback. I cannot thank this team enough. If I haven't mentioned them by name, please know that I have noticed them and they are an equally important part of this incredible team. Overall, the staff are kind, knowledgeable, patient, and interested. On the off chance that they don't know something, they will go away and find out. They're also creative and any challenges they have been presented with (usually Maggie) they have risen to and managed to come up with solutions. I could never thank this practice enough.”
“You know what, cant ever fault Vets4Pets Airdrie, they have always been nothing but attentive and loving to our dog Jasper. They always fuss over him if it's quiet, the vets are knowledgeable an easy to talk to. They accept insurance with ease, and even off insurance, their prices I'd call reasonable. Very friendly atmosphere overall.”
“We recently lost our beautiful Springer spaniel and I can't praise Adele and her team enough. In the few weeks before, I often needed my girl to be seen at short notice and/or I needed advice and we were always accomodated. I only transferred to this vet last year and the difference in care and compassion was immense. I would absolutely recommend them and will not forget their care and concern given to us.”
“Registered my dog at Love Street Practice last year. Hadn’t used the service until this week when my dog was very unwell. I want to say thank you to the vets and reception staff for the high standard of care they provided for my dog they were amazing. They provided the best care my dog and my dog has no fear of going there due to the kindness and love they showed during her time there. I would highly recommend this practice and as an owner feel very grateful to have them I will definitely be continuing to use Love Street Vets for my animals veterinary care.”
“Had to visit as I was caring for my daughter's dog while she was away. Phoned and got an appointment on the same day. Welcoming reception, dog was examined and treated. Full explanation of treatment and what to expect. Would recommend.”
“This is the best Vets, I trust them 100% and they are always friendly, easy to get an appointment, and very reasonably priced. They are incredibly accommodating for my dog who gets too nervous to be in the waiting room and so we wait in the car till the Vet is ready to see us when someone comes and gets us. Most of the people I walk my dog with go here as well, we all owe our pets good health to these wonderful people.”
“We've been going here since our dog was just a puppy and it's been around 7 years now - this is a great clinic, and we have never had any issues whatsoever with the practice. Very lovely & friendly staff (at reception and in the examination room), my dog adores coming here and gets very excited when he realizes this is where he's going. The vets are very helpful and informative and are willing to answer any questions I may have. Visits are always quick, easy and completely stress-free. Keep up the fantastic work!”
“First time my cat has boarded here and he was pretty chilled when he came back home after 2 weeks so that's always a good sign! There's both indoor and outdoor quarters for cats depending on preference and availability of course. We opted for outdoor for our boy as he's an outdoor cat. The runs are a decent size with a heated enclosure if it gets cold with a cosy bed in. He was provided with a litter tray and scratching post too. Staff were friendly and it's handy for where we live at a competitive price so we'll definitely be back in the future!”
“My crazy dog loves to visit this vet and all the friendly staff.”
“The admin team are excellent at making sure all the different wee foibles of my pet's care are attended to. Murphy has needed a little bit extra work as we have had to coordinate with an outside consultant for behavioural issues and the admin team have managed the flow of prescriptions very well. Their communication is great.”
“My cat Boykie has been going to these facilities since he was 6 months old and he’s now 13 years old. He is so happy and contented when he boards. When he comes home he is always healthy and his coat gleams. They play with the animals and the pictures show just how happy they all are. I would thoroughly recommend Valley Kennels & Cattery. Boarding facilities are second to none. 5* from me.”
“Fabulous vets, all the staff are extremely welcoming and it is evident they truly care about the animals they see. I have a nervous dog who can be difficult to handle, the staff are non judgmental, supportive and treat us with kindness.”
“Thank you for looking after this wee stray when he was handed into you end April with a raging ear infection. He's much better and I have adopted him from Edinburgh Cat Protection League!”
“I would like to say a massive thank you to Frances, who is a veterinary surgeon at Vets for Pets Hamilton. My dog was diagnosed with swelling in his mouth and had to undergo an X-ray to find the root cause. As many of you probably know, our pets are our babies, and when they’re unwell, we need that extra bit of comfort, empathy, and compassion. At my follow-up appointment, Frances went above and beyond. She made me feel at ease and showed genuine empathy and compassion toward both me and my dog. She is one of the best vets in Scotland, and it’s clear she truly cares about the animals in her care. We need more vets like Frances—she is outstanding. I would highly recommend her”
“Friendly staff and looked after our pup who was in for tumour removal. One thing I would say is to have more than one member of staff trained up to do insurance claim responses as there was a bit of a wait”
“The best kennels we've used. A nice team to look after your pet :)”
“I have been a customer with collier and brock for years, have attended the Troon surgery as well as Irvine surgery My x2 shih tzu dogs are well looked after every time i attend, On Friday Milo was in for his booster and also getting bloods done, the lovely lady vet plus her 2 young trainee nurses were so good, Milo was loving all the attention So thank you for a lovely Friday visit and thank you to all the staff”
“We were referred here from our usual vets as our dog needed an echocardiogram. Everyone is so lovely! Our vet was so informative and understanding and she was so wonderful with our wee dog. Honestly I could not recommend enough. They treat you and your pet with compassion and respect. Thank you for everything.”
“Our Spaniel Finn recently spent 1 week here and had a great time. Well looked after by Dot and Billy. Was nice to see some Facebook posts on what all the dogs were getting up to as well! He came home super relaxed! Not only that, they shared some advice on dog food which they can provide and sell - which has went down a treat with Finn! Would highly reccomend!”
