“Lovely atmosphere. Great service, cannot fault. Food was delicious. The only negatives I could say are that the service charge is added on to the bill and isn’t discretionary and I ordered a cocktail that was more expensive on the bill than on the menu. But on the whole we were very happy so didn’t raise these. Would definitely eat here again”

My boyfriend had the seafood soup which he loved and the battered prawns which were excellent. I went for the seafood stew which was also very tasty. The portion sizes were reasonable. I particularly like the fact that it is all fresh seafood not frozen. Because I love fresh seafood I would definitely go back. I thought the prices were on the high side but as I love fresh lobster, prawns and clams, I think it is worth a treat from time to time. Love that it's dog friendly. Our overall experience was fantastic and I would recommend this gastro pub .”

Would absolutely recommend her to anyone. She's professional, with loads of expertise and has a very high attention to detail. She'll consult with you to help you design a set of nails you're looking for - including even custom mixing colours when needed (although it rarely is as she has a MASSIVE selection of colours). As a person she's warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly so you feel comfortable straight away. If you're looking for a gorgeous set of nails in a lovely salon right in the city centre it's a no brainer for me!”

I showed Avril some inspo pics and instead of shutting me down telling me, “I can’t do that, your hair is too thin”, like I’ve been told by near enough every other stylist I’ve ever went to - she listened to me and actually consulted with me in depth until we were both happy on how to proceed. I asked for curtain bangs with some layers and that is exactly what I got! Avril took her time, I didn’t feel rushed and unimportant like in other salons I’ve been to. I was made to feel instantly welcome and left absolutely buzzing with the results. I think I have found my forever hair salon and I cannot wait to go back! Thank you so much, Avril!
