“Great customer service, was talked through the sizes over the phone when buying a pair of trainers, about which size was right for me as the trainer was slightly bigger than adidas or nike. As we left we realised that the shop had closed (20 minutes ago) and we were the only customers left. Despite that, all the staff were helpful, there was no hurrying us up or tannoy announcement. “Popped in today just to see if there was anything new. My other half bought a shirt and t shirt and as I was leaving I spotted a nice winter jacket in the window. Heading back into the shop they didn't seem to have my size. I always feel uncomfortable asking for assistance but I plucked up the courage to ask if they had it in a medium in the stock room. Without fuss, she checked the stock and said they were supposed to have one somewhere? Together we worked out it was probably the one in the window. Sure enough it was! Without hesitation the lovely assistant stripped the dummy and handed it over! One very happy and grateful customer here...thank you”

“Proper service. I go twice a year for summer and winter shoes. My feet are measured each time, and a selection of suitable shoes is brought for me to try. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and it's like putting on a pair of comfortable slippers. Can't recommend highly enough. No idea how much shoes cost elsewhere, but these are excellent value and longlasting.”

“I absolutely love this Home Bargains, not just because it has great value items but because the staff are so friendly. I always find myself chatting to the members of staff and they are knowledgeable, helpful and honestly can't do enough for you. On my most recent visit I happened to mention to a member of staff 'Christine' that it was a shame that something I regularly purchase was out of stock that particular day and I said I'd pop back, about 20 minutes later she came and found in the shop to say that she had managed to locate me some that was just about to put out. It honestly made my day, I know it may seem like a small thing but the fact that she took the time to look ( despite me not asking her to) and then coming to search for me was so nice and thoughtful, saving me a trip back.
